Well, I'm on a low carb diet, so its going to kill me, but I want to make a treat for the family on this rainy day. My oven is broken, so I was thinking fudge. I have NEVER been able to make fudge that "hardens"...so I need something very simple to follow. Chocolate or peanut butter fudge, please.

I think there were some posts on here a while back about people like that doing it frequently as a scam to get money. I dont remember the details, but you did the right thing.

I just wanted to say thank you to the people who put these up on all of the special days, and also thank you to our military and their families for their dedication and sacrifices.

I know, and I'm now sorry I didnt. I was just so wound up, I just really didnt think straight. Plus I have a tendency to overreact, and usually need some time for my thoughts to be processed correctly. Thats why I figured this would be the best place to get the word out after the fact. I drive by them every day and if it happens again, I will take more action. I too hope someone informs me if mine do dangerous things.

Yes, I honked my horn and wanted to yell at them, but didnt want to be burned at the stake for reprimanding anybody's angels!! You would think at that age, they would know better.

Just an FYI-- I was driving out of my subdivision this morning (Sunset Mountain) and there was a group of kids waiting at the bus stop. Two of the boys were horsing around on the side of the road, and I slowed down to about 10mph. One of the boys looked up and saw me coming, then shoved his friend halfway out into the road. At this point, I had stopped until they were out of the road. If it had been someone else going the speed limit, or speeding, that hadnt slowed down, the boy would have been hit. I'm pretty sure these were high school kids. Please speak to your older ones about safety

Thats great! I had to read it to mine tonight (9 and 11) and they liked it. They thought it was a good speech. Of course, it was a little different coming from "Mom" because its the same thing I tell them.

Ya know, I've been wanting to tell you all this. I moved here 3 years ago from the north, and haven't been extremely sick yet. Up there, we would get violently ill every January/February where a double sided toilet would have come in handy LOL! I think the air is so dry there, that the viruses can survive and grow more. I would recommend a humidifier to help stop the spread in your house. I havn't heard anything from my kids at their school, but my co-workers wife had it. She was sick for about 5 days, just very achy. Went to the doctors, tested positive and started feeling better 2 days

I'm happy to hear you are keeping your job, and I can definately understand the chaos you are dealing with. Some people like to shop, I dont. I know its my problem, but I'm not about to ask for prices on everything I was interested in. I probably would have bought much more, if I could have seen the prices. I wont do anything that will cause me to be in there any longer than necessary!

Thats right...there is another one, I cant remember the name, but has been prescribed to many people with diabetes over the years, and now they have pulled it. It is dangerous and people have lawsuits going over it. The trouble is, some people believe everything they are told, without thinking about the hidden agendas. I try any natural remedy prior to ever resorting to chemical medicines. My mother has always taken vitamins, and would never take any prescribed meds. She didnt run to the doctor every time she sneezed and beg for an antibiotic. She is now 61, healthy, and requires no meds

For everyone who believes that the goverment/FDA wouldnt approve something that is harmful, explain cigarettes, please. The FDA now has control of tobacco. It is proven to KILL, how many, THOUSANDS of people each year?? Why is it still on the market?? Money. How much money are they making on this vaccine??? Sorry, but my children arent lab rats. I was there today, and yes it was a mess. Of course it is the customers that made most of the mess. Of course there are more customers because of a sale. It is not the fault of the customers that the store is closing. I work at a company that delivers product to restaurants when they run out. Should I blame each and every person because we are slow and I may lose my job because peolpe arent going out to eat as much? No. There are bad things happening everywhere. So, back to Freds. Not just the mess, but it is obvious that items are placed on shelves in the incorrect spot by employess.

I just wanted to inform everyone of the good deal I got. I have been paying $115 per month for full coverage on 1 car and just myself as a driver (no violations). I was using Travelers, who were the cheapest a year ago when I was looking. A coworker came in yesterday and told me he is paying $70 a month with Geico. So, I called and got a quote, and I'm now paying $65! The lady told me that Geico just re-evaluated their Georgia rates. I could not believe how much cheaper it was. Last year, I called Geico and they were WAY expensive. It may be worth a free quote, so you can lower your month
