  1. No, people shouldnt take violence into their own hands. He was fighting with his employee. As far as anything else goes...He fathered 6 children with 4 woman. Doesnt sound like an upstanding citizen to me. He was only one blow to the head either way, from being the one arrested for manslaughter. I dont see you all on here defending every murder in Dakalb--I can see it all now "Oh, he was only there to buy drugs, he didnt ask to be killed!"
  2. But your kids know he's coming home. I dont need to stereotype, I watched the interviews of his friends and sae it for myself. The conservative dudes in suits dont live there and make it a part of their LIFE!
  3. Arent there trained bouncers for that, or better yet LEO? Think how easily the 2 partys involved could have switched places. this man being defended could have been the one being charged...it just depends on who dies..thats the one thats the victim.
  4. If this was any average thug in Atlanta, and not on a reality show, we wouldnt be having this discussion. Once someone becomes a victim, they are always felt bad for. Its time people face the facts of the path they choose. He was in a fight! He was just as liable. He could have just as easily killed the other man. He is NOT a victim, but a participant. A cashier or store owner is a victim. This man was in the fight willingly and it could have gone either way. The person who lives is the criminal, the person who dies is the victim. The person now being charged could have just as easily
  5. Its not really the men who go to a club for special occasions, or who go with their wives, its the ones that make it their LIFESTYLE. The gangsta thug, big man, lifestyle. Think about it in the sense of skydivers....The last few accidents I have heard of, happened to be people who make it their lifestyle, therefore increasing their risk of danger. Make a strip club (or any club) your lifestyle, you increase your risk of danger. Okay, it doesnt make him a bad father?? How much do you think the owner of a strip club sees his 6 kids? How often does he tuck them in at night? Is he planning
  6. I dont know, I was just clarifying some of the stuff from my point of view, and someone had posted that other businesses were allowed to get the potties, and they weren't. Maybe they were still using the water in the sinks but the toilets were backed up, and possbily the restrooms closed. By law they have to have so many bathrooms, depending on maximum occupants of the restaurant. And could have been washing their hands with the buckets in the sinks, therefore not going down the drain.
  7. I think they were having septic issues, and the roads were closed due to the train accident, therefore they were closed. Instead of them being allowed to have porta potties, the city shut them down, possibly in retaliation for them making it a bar?? Thats how I'm understanding it.
  8. Or convince your customers to just use the buckets?? Not really intending to make fun of somebodys mishaps because it is such a crappy situation to be in. As they say S*** happens! Anyone who will look down upon them, probably shouldnt be going out in public anyway!!!
  9. I feel bad for the children. He was shot in a strip club, and when you play with fire, eventually you're gonna get burned. Any man that has 6 children should be trying to be a better role model for his children. Dont get me wrong, nobody deserves to die, but you are responsible for the lifestyle you lead, and the dangers associated with it. Just to clarify--he was beaten not shot. I did read the article before posting this--but had "shot" on the brain due to reading the post before mine.
  10. I sure hope not....but then again people sure are judgemental. This area went through a lot with the flooding, and businesses were not spared from damage. I hope they get their issues figured out and get back to business!!!!
  11. I havnt seen a comedian that doesn't insult people in some way. There is a lighter part of life, and life is WAY too short to be uptight.
  12. Well, if they want you to stop, then they need to put a stop sign. Maybe that makes me a simpleton, but that would be easiest. Or better yet...I'm thinking I should probably just stay home...I'm getting confused now.
  13. HUH? Officers, what is your opinion of the Yield sign? Was this officer correct too, just because he was an officer?? This is from Wikipedia: In road transport, a YIELD (Canada, Ireland, and the United States) or GIVE WAY (most current or former Commonwealth countries) traffic sign indicates that a vehicle driver must slow down and prepare to stop if necessary — usually while merging into traffic on another road — but needn't stop if the way is clear. A driver who stops has yielded his right of way to another. In contrast, a stop sign always requires a complete stop.
  14. I agree with what you are saying when it comes to people crossing the line and driving in the lane prior to it being legal. If the driver turned 1 second too soon, and happened to rub his tires on the yellow line, I think its a little extreme. Now this yellow line is not against oncoming traffic. If the tires were over the line, and was driving in the wrong lane, I can understand. Are you saying your tires have NEVER touched a yellow line?? It seems like everyone is talking about 2 different scenerios. Even if there was traffic, and his tires touched the line, he still would not be in any
  15. I get what you're saying, but none of that was mentioned here. I'm not saying its right, but legal. There are many things in show biz that us normal people would frown upon.
  16. Y'all are scaring me.....I'm going to the Ghost Story thread
  17. Wow!! I dont think I could have waited 3 weeks! At least he was nice, I guess!
  18. Thats good. It is scary to be sitting in long lines of traffic, and have others passing you at 65+mph! Yes, and the "innocent" ones that are sitting there and have just one front passenger tire back over into the correct lane trying to merge back in so you dont get him!! I see it a lot between Hiram and Lithia Springs.
  19. I actually like it, but it does freak me out!! Pleeeeeeaaaaase?? As I'm sitting around the campfire with my blankie.....
  20. That's a good one!! I understand, there cant be a gray line, and questions about where to draw them, but if in fact a vehicle touched a line and was 3 or so inches off, and the officer saw it in his rear view mirror, thats pretty extreme. Would you notice that in your rear view, for real?
  21. Yep, I do know that, and he didnt have that much time. He had JUST come up on me, had time enough to see it says "JULY".
  22. At the speed he was traveling, I'm assuming in order to "touch" the line with his tires, he cut the wheel about one second too early. That is much different than totally crossing the line and driving at a high rate of speed, right up to people that are merging legally. The latter scenerio, I can see, causing a wreck, but given the size of an automobile, there should never be a car affected by a driver being 3 inches over a line that does not have oncoming traffic. Please explain the circumstances of a wreck in this instance.
  23. Not everyone is the same. You may not, but you can never tell what goes on in some peoples minds. I dont group anyone together and classify them as the same...you must be a good one!! I'm all for following the law, but there should be a little common sense. This isnt a real rural area where there arent bigger fires to fight. If there were two children, one jumping off something 3 feet high, and one jumping from 10 feet high, which one would take precedence? I just feel that there are a TON of extreme maniac drivers, and if the officer cant find one, he has a problem. He could have taken
