  1. They do get all excited about hunting season!! One of my drivers has been talking about "opening day" for weeks. BTW-- I love rednecks, military personnel, and venison!!!
  2. Thank goodness! That was a horrible thought...I could not imagine had he been in there. I would have been terrified.
  3. Uhhhh..its actually been a while. I dont really have a need to go because he doesnt do anything. I have a back doctor for my back, and a gyn, and I dont usually ever have any ailments. I actually went when I was having really bad back problems, he prescribed me 5 pills and said to rest...and never even touched my back. Come to find out, I had herniated discs and only found out when I went to a pain doctor. Hence...the reason I dont go because I cant see paying big bucks for him to just look at my face!!! Guess its time for a new doctor anyway. I will try the home remedies and hope
  4. Thank you, I will check it out!! UnionMom--Can you get something called in for me??
  5. Okay, so I'm pretty sure I have an ear infection. I called my doctors office this morning and explained to them what was going on, and that I have no insurance and cannot afford a visit. I asked if he could call me in an antibiotic because I thought I had heard people have done this before. They called me back 5 hours later, only to tell me that he CANNOT call it in without a visit, and they dont have any appointments available today. First of all, I'm pretty sure the laws about the prescriptions are related to narcotics, not antibiotics. I have already signed the papers saying I am not a
  6. I have only been to one dentist here, Austell Dental. It is all the way in Austell, but I would still drive there even if I wasnt already there for work. I have never waited more than 5 to 10 minutes to get in, once I arrive. Everyone there is very friendly. I went for a cleaning the other day, total time gone from work was 1 hour. Also..its only a few minutes once you turn off Thornton Road, onto Maxham/Austell Road.
  7. Thanks! Its amazing to see such a fast transition in a person. Had I not had Pcom, I may have never known! He actually went in a military plane from Hinesville to Marietta to set up for Bidens visit. He is experiencing more than a lot of people ever will. In December he will graduate.
  8. A while ago, the three of you recommended the National Guard Youth Challenge Program for my stepson. Well, we followed through with it, and I owe you guys great thanks. He is now halfway through and was home a few weeks ago. What a difference!! Your information and recommendations changed the course of this young mans life. He went willingly, is enjoying it, and planning to sign up at Chatt Tech when he gets out. Thanks again!
  9. You all just remember...you are not alone. If you need anything, please reach out.
  10. Well, I dont have any daughters...but...I am female. Of course this was unheard of when I was younger, but I really dont know what I would have done. It seems a little bit of "darned if you do, darned if you dont". You truly will never know if it helped, prevented, hurt etc. If you get the vaccine and get cancer, you will say you wish you hadnt had the vaccine....but you may have gotten it anyway. If nothing happens, you may thank the vaccine...but may have never gotten it anyway. Its all a personal decision, but I would not vaccinate myself or my children with anything new without doing ex
  11. I love House!! I almost missed it...why didnt you tell me sooner??
  12. I've never been, but its definately on my list!! It sounds like you have a good plan, have fun!!!
  13. Where's Subby's story he's been promising?? Hmmm..all talk and no story!
  14. Very nice! Unfortunately, I have a black thumb!!
  15. I have actually never been, but would like to. We dont get out much because we dont leave the kids. If we do get away, a nice adult only place is great. Every business needs to tweek themselves in order to stay in business. It sounds like they have done their homework and know who is keeping them in business. Tweeking for the majority of the customers' satisfaction shows they care about their patrons. Good luck and hope to visit soon!!
  16. If thats the case, and she gave it willingly, she would face charges eventually too. I would think it would be hard to prove she gave it to him though.
  17. I dont know, but they said they had material as proof. Like another poster said, the guy should have sold it to the tabloids if he wanted to make money. Maybe he tried and even the tabloids said no because it was prior to his marriage, and really wouldnt have been a good story. If it was currently going on, yes, it would have been a big story, but I cant see "David Letterman dates employees!!!" on the front of the National Enquirer.
  18. Exactly, and we are fighting against that violence, not feeling pity because the terrorists were raised that way. The Americans that died that day were not willing participants in the terror act and shame on anyone on here that is comparing the owner of a strip club getting into a fight to our loyal troops, LEO, and flight attendents, or children that died on 9/11, WWII, Vietnam, or since. Note: Christianity has nothing to due with how good a person is or isnt.
  19. Thank you. From articles I've read, this is not the first time this particular establishment has been in the news for violence. I will say no more than that, for fear of it being picked apart by you all, but research it yourself. Read my prior post, I have no problem with strip clubs. Soldiers and LEO are partaking in stopping violence, not participating in it. I didnt say him being the owner of a strip club was partaking in violence.......the fighting was partaking in violence. Heres a link if it works: http://www.beautyfromashes.org/page17.html Say
  20. Did you not read my post about how I feel about strip clubs? Miners, flight attendants, and people who drive to work are not partaking in violence. Like I said, he could have easily been the one who was charged, had he lived.
  21. Yah, I did type that he was shot, but that was my brain not working as fast as my fingers, sorry, I had "shot" on the brain from reading the post prior to mine! I had actually read the ENTIRE article in the news BEFORE even seeing it on this board. I didnt base my opinion on a few sentences that someone wrote on here. It sucks that people always defend the so-called innocent. He just as easily could have been the MURDERER!! If you dont want to read peoples opinions and discussions, then dont!!
  22. I actully didnt make any comments until I had read the story, and seen the interviews. Each person is responsible for their lifestyle, and what is surrounding them. My opinions were based solely on the lifestyle that he chose, not really the 'strip club' factor but everything else. I've never been to a strip club, but I know couples that go together. It doesnt make them bad people. Had it been an innocent man sitting there drinking a beer, watching the show who got shot with a stray bullet, or someone just walked up and beat on him, yes, I would feel bad. But it wasnt.
