Here is my glass house that I speak from. I have been in a relationship similar to her allegations, where you barely dare to use the bathroom without permission! I have worked for someone like this as well. Men like this make me sick to my stomach. They are the ones that are so full of self pity that they need to make others feel bad to make themselves feel better. I do not know Mr. Richardson, so I cannot verify that he is one of these men. If he is, then I pray he will get some self esteem and stop walking all over others and taking advantage of them to make himself feel more powerful.

The media is definately trying to drag them through the wringer, as happens with anyone in the public eye. I'm sure she had plenty of opportunity to air the dirty laundry in the past year or two, but it seems his recent actions were the straws that broke the camels back. I would take offense if someone attempted suicide, then tried to publicly blame me, when it was their own choices in life that brought them to that point. Okay, I will bite!! As I posted right before this, I will not judge gays who wish to marry, as that is not my responsiblity. I do see the point of people wanting to maintain their view of "marriage". They wish for their children to have a traditional marriage, and dont want their view of marriage to change as years pass. At the same time...I see that the values of marriage have diminished in many traditional marriages, and there are no laws barring that. It seems to me that the marriage document is a state document. It should have nothing to do with religion, unless you so choose. We would be no better than the 3rd world countries we fight against if we base our laws on one religion. People opposing this say that they will do it to gain monetary benefits but the same can be said for heterosexual folks. Would women want to give up their voting rights if the Bible said "May all Men cast their vote"? It is not up to me or any other human being to judge or discriminate.

I understand what you are saying LTD, but if she was just a "bitter ex wife" she would have been talking much sooner than this...like when the "alledged" affairs took place, when the divorce was announced, etc. Most wouldnt hold back for over a year, then speak out. They would do it at the height of their hurt and anger.

As well as making business decisions based on his personal affairs. Not to mention, using his position to threaten her. He will use GBI to look for her? That is really good that you stay in touch with all of them. I dont know many of my relatives, except for immediate family. I think keeping track of family "trees" was more common years ago. My Moms cousin did most of the research for their side of the family. I would like to know more about my fathers side.I hear they come from Ireland and Sweden.

Yah, that is what I'm talking about--but we are the decendents of our ancestors. Do you understand why I wouldnt know everyone that came from 2 people 14 generations ago?

No because I don't have all the branches of the tree such as far distant cousins. I would imagine there are thousands of people in the 14 generations since then.

I think its pretty neat. I met someone at a party years ago, and somehow we got talking about it, and his descendents were the same as mine.

My children and I have been looking through a book my Mom made them, showing our family tree and how John and Priscilla Alden who came over on the Mayflower, would have been their 10th Great Grandparents. My boys are 9 and 11, and really enjoy things like this, and this was the perfect day to look into it. Do/have any of you done this??

My mother used to make all us kids listen to it every year at Noon..we thought she was crazy!! After I moved out, I have played it for my kids, and they think I'm crazy. Thats funny!! We were sitting on our back deck one evening after the kids went to bed and my son comes out, opens the door, and pees right on the deck in the doorway. He just turned around and went back to bed and had no idea he had done it!!

I cant help with recipes. All mine are passed from my Mom, who adds a "little of this" and a "little of that". I give her a hard time all the time for purposely messing up the recipes so nobody is as good as her! The best one is the yeast rolls--I have 3 different recipes for the same thing! LOL!

Thanks! I looked right at all that stuff too, and had stopped thinking about the pumpkin by then. By that time, I was trying to figure out which apples to buy! Ugghh...have I mentioned I hate shopping? The best part is..my boyfriend had done most of the shopping before I even got there!
