Anything Joes is the best! Last weekend my son was shopping for a DS with his birthday money. After big let-downs at WalMart, and Gamestop, I took him to Anything Joes. He left there incredibly happy with his DS and game. Actually, so happy, that he forgot his charger on the counter. Luckliy, they had it in a bag waiting for us to return for it. I'm not so sure that would have happened at GameStop!
We also got a Wii there yesterday! Its for me the kids for Christmas!

Do you have any Patriots or Cowboys?

The latest scuttlebut is that Santa will be giving rides on the new spaceage technology supersonic high speed propulsion system in the tunnels beginning at the new tunnel entrance, just follow the lights.
I'm not ready to "follow the light" just yet.
Really though, to follow the lights, would that be before or after they light the tree??

Cpl. Brandon Gurley ~ Thanks!
Ditto!!!!
Thanks for the clarification.

I didn't say that it doesn't add up. What I said, or at least implied, was that there is a huge difference between driving kids to school vs. driving out of state on a purely recreational trip in a county vehicle. If you really see no difference, there's really no point in continuing the discussion.
Or we could just take away the comapany cars, and increase their salaries by $6000 per year. The truth of it is, they dont make sheeze for money. I wonder if it is cheaper to be able to supply vehicles and gas, rather than actual money. I see it as part of their salary, not a gouging of my wallet.

I have never owned a company car, but I did get a gas card allowance. This was part of my salary, just like health insurance, 401K contributions, etc. We, the taxpayers, are paying for governement employee benefits (as it should be), and having a company car is one of those benefits. I see it as being part of their salary. Now, if they were using the car and gas to travel to Las Vegas twice a year, I would be upset. But, I dont see a problem with using the car for everyday things, such as dropping their child at school.

Oh! I want to take the kids! We missed it last year, and I really kicked myself for it.

I don't blame you, it's best to try pants on before buying them! The shortest we have is a 30 length. We do have 32/30 and 34/30 in several syles.
Thanks for inquiring & if you'd like to come on by and take a look, you can get what you think might work and bring them back if they are too long
Thank you! I definately will.

Do you carry any pants size 32/29 or 34/29?? My son is at this really awkward stage where I cant find anything that fits him. I'm afraid he will be wearing shorts all winter! I dont dare to order online because everything he tries on seems so different.

Kinda like Nathan Deal?
Like any of them. It seems harder and harder to find an honest politician, and fraud/theft is a bad trait for someone dealing with my money. I have a hard enough time dealing with it by myself, and certainly dont need any help!
-
I'm not perfect, but I have never been arrested. Never had a speeding ticket, or any other moving violation. To me, fraud is one of the worst things to be involved in, when you want to run for any public office.

That is so good to hear! I havnt been in yet, but I plan for you to make my Christmas shopping much more pleasurable!

Cute!

Thank you! I have an Inspiron bought in 2009, but I need to find out what platform. I havnt noticed any of the "symptoms" yet.

I have never read true crime books, but I love to read the Dateline crime stories. They are so much better than watching it on tv. I have no clue why I like this sort of thing, but I'm a little happier knowing that I'm not the only one! I guess I better try some books.

I don't like the title of your topics....it makes me look everytime!
Same here! But very creative, and usually the posts inside the topic are entertaining too! I HAVE to get by there soon and check it out.

You're kidding! The entire Board needs to resign. They spend $ millions on a new gym for the kids to play basketball in, yet students don't have books? I know certain funds can only be used for capital projects, but in the grand scheme of things, folks see money being spent here and money being spent there, yet Little Susie doesn't have school books....Do you see a problem with that?
We've been burned by the BOE in the past and we're crazy if we give them more money to burn us again.
VOTE NO to giving those vultures even one penny.
Angel Eyes, I understand your frustration, but you may be barking up the wrong tree. Do we all need to pay attention to what is going on? Yes. But telling them all they need to be fired, is NOT the way to go about it. I would not want to be fired for something that happened before I was hired at my job. That doesnt make much sense, does it?
As far as the school books go...maybe its time to get up to the digital age and move forward from actual paper books. My children are doing just fine with A's and B's...and they are learning! If there is a subject that they need more assistance on, we look it up online. There is far more information available online, than ANY school could ever purchase and have on hand. Before you tell me that not every parent can afford internet....its less than $1.00 per day for a great internet service. How much money do you think these same parents would be paying either through property taxes or SPLOST for all these books you want? In a perfect world, all the children could have books, laptops, and every other supply given to them. But this isnt a perfect world, and PARENTS need to do what it takes for THEIR child to learn the subjects being taught in school.

They have signs on 278 alerting people that they are having a training exercise. There was a Paulding County Emergency trailer at the airport and a row of cars this morning. I would like to watch it.
But it wont be me asking "whats going on"....

Negative numbers are good, positive numbers are bad. If you get a "bullet" it will add to your number, and if you get a "mayberry" for something good, it will subract your bullets. Any that I have had come with a message.

That is very cute!! It brings back memories of my 12 year old...his first Halloween. He had a pumpkin hat with the stem on top and everything. I think I still have it. It was store bought, and not nearly as nice as this, though!

Do you make infant ones as well? My boyfriend is expecting a grandbaby in February, and I would love to get a couple of them. Or maybe a hat and matching blanket? Can you PM me some things that you do, and prices please?

Rabbit Eye?
Yes, please. Rabbit Eye for me! Thank you!

I really enjoy watching him race, but I dont really like him. At least he is pretty honest about his feelings and thoughts. Denny Hamlin is my man!!

I did not say this child is a liar.
I did not say this child misunderstood.
I am aware personally of situations where both of the above statements occurred.
I am ONLY saying folks should be a little more patient before crucifying someone.
Also, feelip - I 100% DO NOT molest children. My point was those sweet babies you love when they are young... there becomes a point where society/puberty/etc causes innocent attention to STOP. I don't want the kids to grow up to that point, but it happens. A natural progression of life.
It was actually a very logical post. Sorry you don't understand it.
Folks should NOT be more patient. Folks should get involved and be 100% certain that a child is NOT being harmed. If I was being harmed, I wouldnt want folks to be patient, and give it some time before anyone spoke up for me.
I'm done here. I'm feeling very sick all of a sudden.
