  1. I'm still going. Crazy things never have bothered me. Lucky for me, I guess, considering the family I have.
  2. They likely aren't open today. Or if they were, they were only open a half day. You have until April 15 to file your 2009 and be under the 3 year deadline.
  3. It won't be available for 2012 for probably another two weeks or so. If you need a replacement SSA-1099/1042S for Tax Year 2011 or earlier: Call us toll-free at 1-800-772-1213, or our toll-free TTY number, 1-800-325-0778; or Visit your local Social Security Office. If you live outside the United States, see Service Around the World.
  4. From where you live, Stoddards would be the closest. Next would probably be Wild West and then Adventure Outdoors.
  5. They are actually in Smyrna.
  6. A lot of businesses don't understand that if someone truly is an independent contractor that they CANNOT legally tell that person what hours to work or how to do the work. They just see the money saved.
  7. Your point??? It ain't Georgia, that's for sure.
  8. I suspect you're correct. Think about it. No matching FICA (that saves 7.65% right there). No federal or state unemployment (saving roughing another 3%). Now, not having to provide ANY benefits because contractors aren't eligible for benefits. The biggest problem I see with this is that so many people who are employees won't ask for an increase in the amount they are paid because they won't realize that THEY have to pay the 7.65% and pay for their health insurance and pay for anything else they want to contribute to a retirement fund. And taxes. If you are approached by you
  9. The lower and middle class will also feel the brunt of the tax hike that is set to happen.
  10. I asked my husband who did that and he didn't know. He's never been as much into music as I have so Heart held no significance to him. I know!! It was beautiful. What a great tribute to not only their drummer but to the band.
  11. That was an incredible version of "Stairway to Heaven". I had to stop reading Pcom to watch and listen to it.
  12. Yep, one of mine, too. Anyway, make sure the floor is dry. Go out and buy a dehumidifier if necessary. Wet floors are a no-no. They can cause HUGE headaches five or ten years down the road. Get that sucker drained ASAP. Cut off the power to it before you drain it or else you risk burning out the heating elements (if it's electric).
  13. WOW. That is a no-information article. It basically says nothing of substance. Oh, wait, ZC posted it. Now I understand. But if they really wanted to combat childhood obesity, sugary drinks are pretty far down on the list of places to start.
  14. That isn't the true argument. It's added sugar.
  15. I'm the same way. First time it's ever made my knees hurt this bad. Guess they are getting worse. Mammo seemed to be fine though.
  16. I LOVE Parkers. They seem to always go above and beyond for the customer. Love 'em, love 'em, love 'em.
  17. Doubtful. It contains natural sugars unlike soft drinks. Then there are the "soft drinks" that contain Splenda or stevia, both natural sugars but not naturally occurring in the drink.
  18. Actually, the deaf guy does qualify. Disability does not mean unable to work necessarily. I work. I just simply can't walk any distance or stand any length of time. Right now my knees are killing me because I had to stand in awkward positions to have my mammogram.
  19. Do you have a name, a family name or a street name? PM me if you don't want it public.
  20. Most drug dealers haven't gotten the word yet but I guess a lot of them are on I-75.
  21. What a waste of time, money and effort. As a person who has been in charge of computing, reporting and/or paying sales tax for over 25 years I can't imagine a more asinine idea. The time it will take to track the sales of sugary drinks would be enormous, particularly for retailers such as Walmart, Target, McDonald's, Wendy's, etc. More bureaucracy. Just what we need.
  22. Sure it is. Just ask Go Blue. He knows all about how increases are actually decreases.
  23. Marbro was on Austell Road, where Richway used to be, not far from Cobb Hospital. The drive in near Southern Tech had another name. I can't remember the name but seems like it was the Georgian drive in. I'll ask my best friend. She and her now husband used to go there every weekend.
