    Windows 10

I've only had my Win 8.1 desktop for a year. I reserved my copy of Win 10 but was going to wait. My worry is losing any programs or files/pics on my pc. Did you have any issues, or did you just copy everything to an external hard drive before you upgraded to the Win 10? Thanks.
  3. I think within the past week or so. It took me by surprise too. Hopefully people will slow down at that hospital intersection. Way too many wrecks there.
  4. Sending prayers, I'm so sorry the family is going through this.
  5. Oh, I'm sorry to hear this. Prayers said!
  6. I killed a cactus once. I was so embarrassed that I stuck a green pin cushion impaled with sewing needles inside a planter and just hoped nobody noticed.
  7. I remember all of that, I was hoping that you would keep her! She's beautiful!!
  8. I live in Hiram, off 278 & Bill Carruth. I heard the boom too, it was loud. I went outside a couple of minutes later (after hearing no sirens) and it was raining. I just assumed it was some really wicked thunder, but I guess not.
  9. This is just awful, so tragic. My prayers go out to this family.
  10. I'm sorry, I was asleep and am just now seeing this. I think it was Fox 5's twitter account that tweeted out something.
  11. Holy crap, I just saw this on twitter
  12. I spent the day yesterday praying for a close friend who was under lock down in his office building in Ottawa. I cried when he finally posted on his Facebook that he was home and okay. Stop bitching. Stop blaming. Stop it long enough to pray for the the young 24 year old Canadian serviceman who leaves behind a young child and family. Remember his name. Cpl Nathan Frank Cirillo
  13. Okay. I'm in Hiram, in a subdivision off Bill Carruth & 278. I will be glad when I can get it. Thanks.
  14. What part of Paulding do you live? I checked the ATT Digital Life site and it's not available in my neighborhood. I'm already on uverse.
  15. *achoooo* Feelin' kinda puny over here...and hungry....just sayin'....
  16. Many years ago up in Towns County, drug cops buzzed my grandma's garden with their helicopter because of her okra plants. She was so mad. Obviously they weren't local cops or they would have known better. Or didn't appreciate good home-grown vegetables.
  17. Thanks, that makes sense. I really can't think of another case in racing like this where criminal charges have even been discussed.
  18. I have given a lot of thought to that myself. My knowledge (such as it is) is limited to motorsports. To my knowledge, most....if not all, racing sanctioning bodies and race tracks have drivers sign a waiver, because racing is an "inherently dangerous" sport. The late JD McDuffie's widow tried unsuccessfully to sue the Watkins Glen track for his death. There was a female NHRA who tried to sue a competitor who crashed into her, claiming it was deliberate but she eventually dropped it (it was basically a matter of her trying to prove it was gender-related.) I've asked several of my friends who a
  19. Best I can tell from researching, use of a Grand Jury varies from state to state. Apparently, in NY, one cannot be charged with a felony without a grand jury decision first. However, in NY, the DA has the legal ability to go ahead and press charges if he wants to. In this case, I think he just passed the buck to save his political ass. Since the incident didn't happen at a NASCAR-sanctioned event, they don't have any authority over the matter. They could have "parked" him, but I guess are going with the "innocent until proven guilty" stance. Tony already voluntarily pulled himself out of
