Update on Rainy, my girlfriend....it was a GREAT DAY.

Well, as of this morning, things went south again. It's really been a roller coaster of emotions for me and her family. The capilaries in her head keep trying to collaspe. So, they are trying different kinds of meds, each requiring another surgery in hopes of finding something that will strengthen and stabillize the vessels. I was going to see her again this morning but they said she was out and would be all day while they try something else. So, it's back to the wait and see thing. I appreciate all the prayers, and I hope you folks are enjoying this beautiful Sunday. I know I am doing my -
My aunt and I went to see Rainy today. She was awake and alert. I haven't seen her all week, and her eyes lit up like a Christmas Tree when I walked in. She seems to have full movement of her arms, hands and one leg. She was also very coherent although the drugs still have her drowsy. This woman is a fighter and in the past 2 days she has bucked the odds and awed the doctors with her dogged determination and strong will. It made my whole week! I popped a few jokes and got her laughing a little too hard, but we both enjoyed it and it thrilled me to see her smile so large. Please keep the pr

Oh wow! I'm glad you found this site and filled us in. Linda has been keeping me up to date on her status. You are right about that- she IS a STRONG WILLED woman for sure, and so full of love. I am making plans to have someone man the shop on Saturday so me and aunt Linda can get to the hospital. I have GOT to see her. I've had my hands so full with trying to get the shop up and running, and it's pained me all week not being able to get to Grady to see her. I hope her family is okay with me posting about her...the way I see it is like this- the more prayers we can get, the better, plus these f

Oh, and one more thing yall....I am taking in 4-wheelers, especially since deer season is almost here. Tell your friends. Our repairs include many other things besides mowers, such as log splitters, pressure washers, go-karts, generators, etc. Basically anything with a gasoline engine on it that doesn't exceed 30 HP in size, we fix it. I am also working out a deal with a machine shop next to my shop for specialty items and custom parts fabrication.

Thanks guys. I just hauled in my last load of tables and equipment this morning. Everything is organized and ready to roll. There's plenty of room to keep equipment locked up tight indoors, and since I have my own parts guy, we are getting most repairs out the door the same day they come in. SPEEDY service!! You folks just bring them on. BTW, even though my overhead has gone up, I'll still make sure you get the best quality and rates that I always provided yall in the past.

Call me if I can help in any way.

Thanks! Now listen, you folks are always welcome to just drop by and check it out, and just shoot the breeze with me if you want. I'm going for that "Walley's Gas Station" feel like a nice quaint little shop where people come for repairs or to just say hi. But you never know...you may find something you like that's for sale. We've got a lot of rebuilt stuff for low prices. In fact, I've slashed priced left and right just to clear the shop out. I even thought about setting up a litle table outside with a checker board for the older folks who just want to pass the time. I would also like t

Thank you! I've been loading up equipment since I got home today, so I had to stop in for a smoke and some pcom time. It's really cool...I just now made enough room to pull my truck INSIDE my garage! It's been a lot of hard work and I have to give it all I've got because at my age (47) this is probably my last chance to make something really good for not only myself but for my community, as well.

Actually, I loved working from home, but now I realize that my house wreaked a lot from gas. I reckon I had just gotten used to it. Pretty soon I'll be able to use my garage for my CAR!!! The man who owns the property the shop is on is Pete Brown. Apparently he is well known around Paulding, and might I say he is one of the NICEST elderly men I have met in a long time. Some mornings we'll stand around and chew the fat for up to a half hour. He's very happy about the highway coming in and the business it will generate, as I am also. I am very stoked about it all, but I also understand

Okay! I finally got my new business cards in today, and guess what?? The address doesn't work on GPS or mapquest. But if you type in 1624 Rosedale Drive, Hiram, GA 30141 that shows exactly where I am located. Business hours are Mon-Fri (some Sat's) from 11:00 a.m. till 6:00 p.m. Just give me a call at 678-315-8794. Thanks!! Glenn (Glenn's Mower & Small engine Repair) Here's what the new bizz cards look like (but remember to use the address I mentioned so you can find it.

Do I hear $425????

I do not have the bonafide address but if you paste in this address: 1612 Rosedale Dr, Hiram, GA 30141 it will show you EXACTLY where I am located now. I have 1,000 bizz cards that should be ready tomorrow if I can scratch up the balance to pay for them, and they have the exact address. In the meantime, you can copy and paste in the address above to easily find us. Here's the thread on details: http://paulding.com/forum/index.php/topic/293390-lawn-mower-repairs-paulding-east-cobb/page__pid__3701604#entry3701604

Reconditioned gas powered leaf blower. Fully rebuilt carb, new fuel lines. Runs like a top, 205MPH rating. Excellent condition. $75 cash only- no trades! I am in the East Hiram area close to Powder Springs. As an outdoor power equipment mechanic of several years, I would buy one of these over most any hand held blower on the market today. This model and the Craftsman (identically same machine with different color and Craftsman sticker) are among the best you can get. My own Craftsman was trouble free fro 20 years, and I rebuilt it and sold it for $80, four years ago. The guy who bought it fro

Thanks! If there aint too much racket going on hopefully I'll hear you. It can be quite noisy sometimes though....especially checking a chainsaw with the muffler off!! (and I thought playing on stage was loud! )

With the rain, things have slowed enough for me to get all my ducks in a row. The shop is VERY NICE, plenty of room and I am about 90% organized, so don't hesitate to call me if you need repairs. I am in full repair mode now, and I can also get you parts for those who do their own work, within a day's notice. Riding mowers, walk behinds, all 2-cycle equipment (leaf blowers, edgers, trimmers, etc.) I am fully stocked and ready to provide you folks with high quality and super fast service!! I also still have some used and rebuilt equipment if you're on a tight budget (and who aint in this da

I had to run down to D'ville to pick up some mower parts. I haven't even had the gas money to get out there to Grady. But there's not a lot I can do at this point until she moves a little further in her progress. Her son and my aunt call me with updates every day. So far, the status is the same, but nothing has gotten worse. She's still pulled through the impossible. Her family knows I am maxed out on getting the shop ready and getting customers in and out, so they told me to carry on with my business and they keep me updated regularly as things change. She still remains sedated most of the da

Bumping to sale....$450?? That's really about the best I can do.

We already knew that!

I equate it to no more than a bad habit...not a mental disorder, lest we consider farting out loud a mental disorder. As soon as I found it could cause Hepatitus I stopped...no seizures, or other side effects. I keep clippers everywhere.

I would have to base this on the person's age. It's those middle aged and even people in their 30's that get on my nerves. But an old man or woman (and I mean OLD) I will humor them and listen because at that age they have little else to talk about and to entertain them with your ear means so much to them.

After a second surgery to basically blow a clot out and get blood flow going, Rainy can sit up, is responsive and everything is moving except one leg which hopefully will be temporary once 100% blood flow is restored. Thanks folks for your prayers- they certainly worked!!
-
Thank you so much! Drop in anytime you'd like. We're there from 11 till 5 until things get rolling a little better.
-
Again, let me say thank you all for your support and prayers. Update: Not so good. They had to perform surgery again because the blood stopped flowing through her brain. They increased her blood presure and it finally removed a clot where the fluid had apparently coagulated. This all went well, but it adds to the problem of how long she was deprived of O2 to her brain. For the record folks, I had ben dating her for only 4 months, but in that 4 months, my life became much richer. Should God decide to take her on into His arms I am fine with that. I would want the same for myself if too

This is a great deal, whether for yourself or for a Christmas gift for someone else. 26" cutting deck, new battery, Briggs and Stratton 12 HP I/C engine that runs terrific. This is an excellent buy for the money. Will be very nice when the leaves start falling too! Call Glenn to set up a time to check it out. 678-315-8794
