I have an older Jacobsen push mower that runs terrific and is a long lasting and reliable mower. I also have a Murray 42" cut Riding Mower that runs and cuts great, perfect for larger yards, an acre or more. The ONLY thing wrong with the Murray is that reverse does not work. It is an automatic drive trans that is fine in forward, with plenty of pull and speed if needed. I am dropping almost $100 off this one because of no reverse (which is not a big for most people who have a lot of yard to cut). Asking price for the rider is $300 as-is. The push mower is $100. Give me a call if you need somet

No ma'm I sure don't. Mine is just a repair bizz with some rebuilt sales items. However, given the crappy E10 gasoline and the fact that tillers are only used once a year, you are driving in the right direction by renting. Just scour the yellow pages online and look for the best price.

Ahhh....come on. Have a little faith! Call me if you need me. -
The kids have all found their eggs and now it's time to cut the grass, whack the weeds, and clean up that yard! If anyone needs repairs or tune ups on their equipment, just give me a call at 678-315-8794. I'm ready to get started on another busy season. Glenn

I also lost the IP's meaning as the thread unfolded, both with and without certain posts in between. All I can say is that over the past 6 years I have made good friends with a lot of Paulding's finest in uniform, as well as GSP, DCounty, etc. I wanted to be a cop when I was 30, (I'm almost 48 now) but it didn't sit well with the family. That said, I've always admired cops and have always harbored a thing in my soul about "getting the bad guys" in an effort to make my country a better place for my two young daughters to live in, as well as everyone one in our community, if not the whole nation

Today's market for outdoor power equipment is changing like I've never seen before. While some of the ideas are actually good, MOST are really not UNLESS you know the specifics about them. This evening, I'd like to cover two things I am seeing a lot of.... 1. Camshaft problems- the camshaft on your mower engine is much like what you have on your automobile. In a single cylinder engine (most riding mowers) that does not use pressurized oil lubrication (if your engine has no oil filter, then you need to read this)...the material that the camshafts used to be made of (solid steel) has given w

I feel your pain. This year I am doing everything myself for as long as possible with just one helper. Meanwhile, that means 2-4 hours extra at night doing follow ups, paperwork, etc. But, at least my quality control is at 100% again.

Just a reminder. Season is gearing up.

This is true, and I've sent my share of resume's out only to be called back with the same old, same old, "over qualified BS" "can't afford you"....even though I NEVER asked for anything other than what was offered. The posts made here that were in conflict with your initial thread was simply to help you understand that people are DESPERATE right now. Jobs are few and in between. People WILL say and do most anything to take a shot at anything they can find. Surely anyone in our shoes would understand this. That said, I also put a caveat or two in my hiring offers just to see if they can follow -

This alone should be enough to quell any knee jerk buys of milk and bread.....gee!!! I'd sure hope so anyway! -
Sending PM...

This thread is scary!!! I can only thank God I wasn't nailed by this. I did have one single gust of wind that had to be around 50 mph but only for about 3 sec's....long enuff to blow my front yard away and fill my garage up with leaves....but I've grown used to that.

Honda's are the BEST...ultra quiet, etc. BTW, did I mention I had to clean the carb on a $1500 Honda generator??? See my comment above!! Honda's are GREAT, but they still fall prey to crappy ethanol gas just like all the rest~ G p.s. My power did go out momentarily...just long enough to shut down my comps without saving data.....bad enough. Any of you comp guru's gotta a good deal on a GOOD used backup comp batt??? Call me, please!!! I spent about 30 mins of sifting through paper to restore my data just for one day. Thank God, I STILL use paper....you all remember paper and pen,

And for Pete's sake!!! DRAIN the gas out of it while not in use!!

I am very close to expanding services to include many other outdoor items. If you're in need of lawn mower and other outdoors equipment repairs, please call me at 678-315-8794. Most work, such as tune ups can be done mobile, and more complex repairs can be handled at my temporary shop in Carrollton until I lock down a potential deal on a shop just outside Villa Rica. Repairs include all 2 and 4 stroke engines, most brands of mowers, handheld and backpack items, tillers, you name it. As long as it's 25 horsepower engines or smaller then I'm the guy to call!! I focus on REPAIRS, not selling

 Dude!!! You're killin' me!! All I know is everything was semi-okay until a gust of wind dang near blew a riding mower off the ramps as we were pushing it into the back of a pick up. It blew over everything that wasn't bolted down in my front yard...my head included! A couple of black-outs (lost my comp data, danggit)...otherwise, we survived over here.

Yeah, me too. Trying not to complain about it because it's my bread and butter. But, it does get me down every so often especially when there's so much of it.

I have on occasions. Give me a call and we can discuss it. Glenn 678-315-8794

Very good thread! I'm a firm believer in that, as well as keeping as much business in the local community as possible. Hope you are doing well, Tom. I'd love to catch up with you soon....maybe do a lunch together or something when you (and me) can get the time. Fortunately, business has started full swing over on my end!

I am getting so many requests for rebuilt riding mowers that my head is spinning. So I am looking for broken riders that people no longer want. I am also willing to pay whatever innate value the mower may still have, minus the costs of having to pick it up and remove it from the premises. Please call me at 678-315-8794. I am also interested in push mowers, as well. Even if they're totally broken, I can still use spare parts from them. Thank you very much, and I hope to hear from some of you soon. Your help in this matter will benefit the local citizens in our county, as I try to keep all my bu
