I know a child that has gone to school here in Paulding thru the third grade. He goes to Dunwoody Charter now. Been there 3 weeks, this week they pulled him out of his class to be tested for advance classes. He was the only one in his class to be pulled out. To me this says something good about Paulding PUBLIC SCHOOLS.

My information came from someone that knows. I don't know where you are getting yours. They may be, but they are run different than our public schools.

If this passes, we could revert back to segregation. I don't mean black and white. A charter school requires you to give a certain amount to their classroom, requires you to join PTA, also requires you to volunteer. YES,HE IS TELLING IT LIKE IT IS. Yes, they are public schools, but did you know that they get 7000 or more dollars per student, and pulic school get 3000 or more. Is this right? NO. why should mine child get three , and this is also taking away from the entire program. They get this extra money, then they tell the parents, it is mandatory that they pay twenty dollar to each childs teacher for supplies, also it is mandatory that they join PTA and volunteer.
