  1. There is always going to be people without any social skill, it is not just the breastfeeders.

I have seen several ladies breastfeeding in public. In all cases they were very modest and had a blanket or towel over them so you really did not know what was going on unless you took a closer look. They were not just standing around with their teets hanging out.

  2. Did anyone go to this meeting? I am on the list but didn't hear anything about it until now.

Yes. They had members of the GADOT there to answer questions and several large overhead satellite image maps showing the proposed route.

Being my first DOT open house I thought it was done very well. Simple and to the point.

  3. Protip: Take all the junk and break it down into black garbage bags, don't make them heavy, nor sharp/pointy, each week sit ONE bag at the curb with your regular garbage. In a few weeks or a month or two, all of it will be gone.

That is pretty much what I do.

Our rubbish bin is never full so I just put the junk in a garbage bag and stick it between some of the other bags.

They never know what hit them. :D

  4. The chief of Dodge Motorsports is hopeful that the manufacturer will return to NASCAR in the not too distant future. "Going forward, we're going to take the year off, evaluate the potential," Ralph Gilles told ESPN.com after a panel discussion on the future of motorsports at the Specialty Equipment Manufacturers Association Show. "We also did a lot of data mining. Part of the issue our management team wanted was, what are we really getting out of NASCAR? We only have two cars out of a huge field. Are we getting our money's worth? Ironically, this year we got beyond our money's worth. How you can replicate that? I don't know. That's what we're looking at right now." The matter of returning to the sport, whether that is in 2014 or another year in the near future, is finding an organization as strong and viable as Penske Racing. The lack of such a team left Dodge with little option but to pull out in 2013. "The Dodge brand is interested," Gilles said of a return. "It would be hard to replace Roger [Penske], because Roger has a long-term deal with Ford. The capacity isn't there to have that right now. It's going to be tough, but we'll have to look at it." Gilles said the move toward more brand identity with the 2013 car could help expedite [Dodge's return].(ESPN)(11-1-2012)

  5. So, because everybody else was doing it and he's a great athlete, it makes cheating OK? Good Lord, what a crock. Cheating could make just about anybody a great athlete and doping just makes you a cheating athlete.

I never said it was ok. I merely pointed out the fact that doping in professional bike racing is a given. Did Lance need to do it to win, probably not. with or without the doping he is still a tremendous athlete. You don't win by over 7 minutes just from doping.

The USADA had an obvious vendetta against Lance which is why they went after him so many years after he retired. They could serve the sport a lot better by going after current athletes instead of wasting time with the past.

Asked yourself why they did not award the titles to the runner ups? Because they know they were doping also.

  6. Lance did not win 7 TDF Titles simply because he was doping. He won them because he is a outstanding athlete. Look at the time gaps for all his wins. His closes win was a 1 minute time gap. Majority of them was 5 minutes or more. And he was competing against other riders who were also doping.

Anyone that says he was not doping is only fooling themselves but it does not take away from the fact that he is a tremendously gifted athlete.

Those who follow professional bicycling know that all of the professionals are doping. It is just a given in the sport. Lance was no better at it then anyone else. The USADA had a vendetta against him because he was winning so many races but they could not prove he was doping because he passed all his tests despite being the most tested athlete.

Another thing you have to ask, if Lance and the US Postal team was so good at hiding the doping how come Flyod Landis got caught after his win in 2006? Apparently Flyod was out sick on the day of the how to pass your drug test class.

  7. NASCAR and Fox announced an eight-year, $2.4 billion extension Monday that runs through 2022 and keeps the prestigious Daytona 500 and first third of the Sprint Cup Series on the network. The deal begins in 2015. The $300 million average annual fee is a 33% increase to what Fox had been currently paying. It includes TV Everywhere rights that allow Fox to live stream its races beginning with the 2013 season-opening Daytona 500. Fox gets the first 13 Sprint Cup Series races under the deal, and the entire Camping World Truck Series. ESPN and Turner hold the rights on the remainder of the schedule through 2014. Exclusive negotiations with NASCAR do not begin until next summer.

  8. The bigger question is this, is this a one time tax? Or a every year I don't have insurance tax. Do I get taxed if I go to see a healthcare professional or the following year when I file my taxes. Is it prorated if I get coverage during the year?

If I don't pay the tax do I get denied healthcare? If I pay the tax am I then entitled to free healthcare? Is that a one time visit or for the rest of the year or the rest of my life?

How would I prove I paid the tax to get my free healthcare?

If you get taxed every year you don't have coverage but still get healthcare then at $1200 a year that is a whole lot cheaper then paying for employee coverage. (which is the whole idea as it leads to single payer coverage)

They should have the answers to all these questions because they passed the bill so I am sure they have now read it.
