  1. I drove by and saw it on the billboard out front.
  2. Thanks to the folks at the old Dallas Theater for the free showing of Polar Express today. That was my first time seeing a show in the old theater and made me think of my mom's stories about spending Saturdays at the show in Dallas.

I have the number of another guy if you want it. Christian guy, very trustworthy.
  4. Its $19.95 with AT&T if you don't have a home phone, unless they are running a special. Watch them like a hawk, I can't say I recommend them, since they are pretty much the satan of the business world. They will overcharge you and give you services you don't want, but they have it, if you're willing to fight with them.
  5. I bought it new and the blade has never been sharpened. Please pm the approximate cost and where/when I could bring it. I'm off this week so I'm flexible as to times.
  6. Strange question... but can you sharpen a machete? I have one that has never been sharpened, but someone suggested that I try a lawnmower repair place since they sharpen blades. What do you think?
  7. Will you be having a day camp during February break or horse camp during the summer? If so, what are your rates?
  8. Tenderloin biscuit is as close to my grandmother's as I can come.
  9. Is Hooters really the best place for kids to eat??? hmmm? Personally, I don't go in there myself. I don't really want my money going there. I think it is a poor choice for kids, but that's my opinion.
  10. I think you may have been looking at the calendar to right that shows the calendar for school holidays and not the weather related announcement at the bottom of the page
  11. To settle would open the door for all of the other property owners who may have had similar problems
  12. In some places it is that bad!!! How fast is appropriate on a solid sheet of ice?
  13. Is Cirque De Soleil still in Atlanta? If so, its really good.
  14. I can deal with pecans in my chicken salad, but not grapes. I make the simple recipe and chop it all very small, including the chicken, in a food processor, but not so that its mush. Then I take plain, white bread, cut off the crusts, and make small finger sandwiches from chicken salad and cut them into triangles corner to corner. I've made them for showers and parties; everyone loves them. You can also put the salad in romaine lettuce "boats" and put a couple of grape tomatoes cut in half on top. Use some of the celery leaves for garnish and it looks great.
  15. The basic Ingle's chicken salad is rotisserie (sp?) chicken, finely chopped red onion, finely chopped celery, and mayo. I don't know the exact quantities.
  16. I know, I've done that before, too. It didn't seem that way, so I politely asked if he was supposed to go before us. That was NOT the case, he just walked around everyone because there was no sign that said, "One Line" He was much larger than anyone in our line, so he just did as he pleased.
  17. He wasn't fat. He was probably at least 6'3" and muscular.
  18. I ran him down with a handicap cart, then put in reverse and ran back over him I went up to the register and politely asked if there was some reason why he went ahead of the 4 people waiting. He may have been finishing an earlier issue that didn't require him to stand in line again, I've had this happen before. Oh, but nooooo, the clerk didn't know what to say and the man informed me and the other 4 people that we were all waiting for the OTHER register and there was no line for the register he was in. He said that there was no sign that said One Line. He was such a jerk and was just
  19. Ok, you are in a very slow customer service line at Wal-mart. There are two people working the desk, but one line has formed in the customer service area and everyone is just waiting for the first available customer service person. There are four people in line. A very large man walks around everyone in line and goes to the first available register. The customer service rep doesn't realize he has broken line and starts helping him. Do you stand there, or do you say something?
  20. I hope his fellow inmates find out what he did. Maybe that will be the end of the story.
  21. It was just the battery. Thank you, God! The battery was over 9 years old, so I'm not shocked, but I am just glad that it wasn't a major repair.
