I am unsure that he was trying to protect his sister, I think he might be trying to protect his own testomny. The depostions were taken along time ago,could you remember exactly what you said 3 years ago? just making sure that the defense doesn't say" that wasn't what you said 3 years ago". I usnderstand that. But After talking to my Nephew who worked at coldstone at the avenue told me that if the owner puts up a "tip cup" he doesnt have to pay his employees min. wage. My nephew got paid way less then min. He didnt stay too long there.

sounds like the umpire needs to take control of the game. And the adults need to remember that is in fact a game. It should be fun,especially to 5 and 6 year olds! We do soccer, and yes the partents get really verbal there too, but when it gets to a point the ref. will throw their butts off the field. Coaches too. any sport for 5 and 6 year olds is to teach the basics, and see who is really wanting to learn and go further. It broke my heart too. But I figured it wasnt Carly, because she went to Jason and told him. My Husband had two cousins on that flight. One died at the scene, the other actually jumped out of the plane as it was slidding down the highway. His pelvis was crushed, and had to have many surgeries over the years. He lived a nice life,until just a few years ago he died from cancer. they think it could have been from the jet fuel he inhaled that day.

I have had to take my son there several times(I think they have a coffee mug with my name on it.lol) other than feeling like I wait a long time. Heart attacks and major wrecks come before stitches anyday and i understand that. Just our luck everytime.lol they were very considerate and took care of my son and my worries.

i agree. i dont mind one bit them clearing the dirty dishes. and I would rather them quietly leave the little book instead of handing it to me and waiting. I feel like I am being rushed to get out of the door when they hover and wait for the money.

My son graduated from ephs last year. He was always having problems in his p.e class with stuff getting stolen.(after first time it was his own fault) he said the coach started locking the valuables in the office during class..but when a sub was there things got stolen.He said last year a guy in his class had his jeans stolen too. had to go rest of the day in his gym shorts. People have no respect for others !

I caught on that Leah's mom is a nurse too.But, I quess you dont want to"see" the problems of your own children. But her ped. should of noticed something. Thank you for that link to their story.I hope others will read it also.It is sad to read all the hurtful things people post on here. all the judgement and bitterness. This family is not being rewarded for losing their daughter in a preventable way, it seems like they are just trying to ease the pain just a little bit...

sorry, but I feel like that last comment was way off.giving the very best of what you can give is just causing spoiled little brats. What Good parenting is is giving the child all your attention, time and Love. Only things that children really need are a roof over their head, food in their tummies, and clothes on their back and shoes on their feet. wether you buy a ten dollar pair of shoes or 200 dollar pair of shoes does not decide if you are a good parent. Now having said that, I think the party is celebrating the childs first birthday and the parents of having kept them alive this long.

I remember that Diners drive ins and dives featured it. All I remember was the meatballs, Guy said that they were excellent!. I had the perogies and chicken,loved it and had enough for lunch the next day. Very nice place, and the service was wonderful! Maybe we should all go in there at different times and tell him to buy the creekstone. Maybe he will get the idea.

I agree with this. We have to be great examples to our children. Be careful of too much fruit juices(way too many calories in that)the fruit it self is better. I just kept putting the veggies on their plate, my kids finally started eatting more and more veggies and beans. Make the veggies the biggest portions on the plate, meats and pastas smaller.limit sweets(but dont cut them out all together) another thing is to make sure he isnt eating stuff just because he is bored.

We were on our way back from Alabama Thanksgiving, when we came up behind a funeral.It was sad to see how many cars passed it on 278. But it was just a touching to see a walmart semi going the other way, close to stop on a dime(as quickly as semis can anyways) and pull over.

Dh took the back off, and there is a shoot that funnels the air to the hose. That shoot was full of lint( along with toothpicks-dh found that out the hard way my fil with dementia puts his tooth picks in his pockets and she doesnt check them.) Like I said, I was surprised they didnt have a fire before, the clothes would not dry so she kept adding time to it sometimes hours.
