For the amount of money that we pay LEO's I don't mind this one bit. This is a small perk, that should be allowed. It really gripes my butt that the LEO's are damned if they do and damned if they don't. They put their life on the line everyday for pay that most of us would not even work for much less risk our life for, but they do it because they enjoy the job and actually like the job that they are doing. Pawn shops are required by law to submit records every day to the state. If you have something that has been stolen and you have a serial # for it they can easily cross reference with all pawn shops. The problem is they can sell the stuff on craigs list or ebay and no one police's these sites. I only know about the pawn shops because my sisters house was broken into and they recovered items and returned them to her and arrested the thug that did it. The door has been like this since before thanksgiving, a neighbor and I have both called the non emergency number and reported it. This is a foreclosed house. This scared the crap outta me when I saw it because I know all the people that live in this area, including my parents.

My grandmother had her gallbladder removed, 12-13 years later she started having pains and she kept telling the Dr. that it felt just like she had gallstones again. They told her their was no way that it could be anything like that. They would not listen to her. They finally did exploritory surgery and they found 5 large gallstones. 1 of them was bigger than a half dollar. She then had 3-4 gallstones 8-9 years later. So you can get them even if you don't have your gallbladder. I hope you get some answers and hope you feel better soon.

He would be seeing the other end of his junk after I yanked it off. Then I think I would go flush it so it could not be used again in this manner. I am mean like that and I would not take anything like this.

My dad had blood work done several years ago and his was high, they sent him to a urologist and it turned out he had an infection of the prostate. They did a biopsy and ruled out cancer. They put him on antibiotics for several weeks and it cleared up. I am praying this is what is going on with your husband. I hope and pray everything will be OK.

Lady Raider, I am praying for you that everything goes good tomm. I had this surgery in 1989 and it was the best thing I did. I felt great the next week and went on vacation. Hope it works out for you and it gets rid of the pain.

Thank you all for the prayers, this was by far the easiest surgery I have ever had. I have had c sections and gall bladder taken out and this was easy as pie. I came home and went to sleep. But everything is going good. I can not wait for tomm. so that I can see. I have had glasses or contact since I was 2 years old I am very blind. neg 13.25 in one eye and neg 13.75 in the other eye. I am being told that when I have the other eye done I will be able to see without glasses except for possibly reading. I can not wait. Thank you again for all the prayers, I really appreciate it.

I know that what ever happens it happens and we will cross that bridge if it comes up but hoping everything goes as it should with no problems. I know that the prayers help and I thank you all for the prayers and hugs and well wishes.

I am having catarac surgery on Tuesday. It is not a big deal except that we have detatched retina that runs in the family and I have had to have the retinas fixed on each eye. So I am a little freaked out. I am hoping that everything works out ok, but I would still like all the prayer warriors on pcom to say a little prayer for me. Thank you so much and I will update as soon as I can to let everyone know that I am ok.

If you were a probation officer would you want the people on probation that you deal with knowing what your car looked like and the tag showing county car? I would not. I know in Cobb one of the fire investigators has a county car that has a tag that is not even from Cobb county on it. I guess this helps keep him safe.

You need to do your homework, my husband is an appliance repair technician. He states some of the new one you have to use special cookware. But most you can still use your iron skillets. Just make sure before you buy your new stove. Just be very careful and do not drop your iron skillets on the glass top. My mom dropped a glass lid on hers and chipped it and then several months later it cracked all the way across and had to be replaced. Good luck and I hope you enjoy what ever you decide to get.

My MIL's 86 silverado was stolen last year. It like this one was in good shape. Her sons car broke down and he was driving it back and forth to work. It was stolen out of the parking lot at his job. It just amazes me how bold these thieves can be. I truly hope you get your grandfathers/dads truck back soon. My niece has a 1985 silverado, I told her dad they better put an alarm system on it so it doe not get stolen. Good luck again.

Does your daughter have a cell phone, tell her if this ever happens again call 911. Get to her car and lock the doors and wait for an officer. She could have had an officer there in a couple of minutes and possible they could have caught this guy. I am glad she didn't get hurt, even if she doe not have a cell phone that is operational you can still call 911 on any cell phone that you can turn on even if it does not have service. Alot of people do not know this.
