Anyone remember the old Columbia/Avondale Mall in Avondale Estates (or Decatur)? There was a small cemetery in the parking lots at the mall. I believe Walmart bought the property. Don't know what became of the cemetery.

This reminded me of years ago where an elderly lady in northwest Seattle was turning down a million dollar to sell her house. The developers ended up building commercial spaces around her house. Here is the photo: She had passed on several years later. I believe her friend/caretaker sold the house to a real estate (RE) broker that promised to leave the house the way it is for office spaces.

If you have eaten pheasants and like it, you will probably like guinea-fowls. Both are rather popular in Europe!

I have heard where you can keep them away/at bay by washing fruits/vegetables with apple cider vinegar (with the mother in it) in the sink. I keep my fruits/vegetables refrigerated.

does it bother you when items read "made in china"?
Brian replied to mei lan's topic in RECENT TOPICS
The US federal food agency (USDA) allows companies to ship animals like chicken and cattle to China for processing, and back to the US for us to enjoy feasting! Ever notice when reading on a label to see where it is made in/product of, they are usually in very small prints?- 34 replies

There is a place on Atlanta Highway on Dallas side called General Food-serve or something like that. At one time, it was known as Brown Whole Foods. They might have some good deals on meats. I had sales sheet somewhere here, but I could not find them. The address is 3659 Atlanta Hwy in Dallas.

My great-uncle, a well-known retired professor/author still use his Aol E-mail address after many years. He didn't want to change his, he use the Aol browser or whatever it is called to keep in touch with his family and friends all over the world. I have to admit their built-in Instant messaging (IM) client is lots better than their current aim clients. I still have three screen names that I use for IM, but I have not used in years. I have them set up on my smartphones to keep them active (with E-mail being blocked from receiving/sending messages). They could one day make a come-back, whic
