Amazon might really have everything after-all. Amazon Services offers a service titled Hire a Goat Grazer, designed to help people manage unwanted vegetation in their yards. Since goats are great at land management, letting a few loose on your property will help to clear up any invasive species or even brush that you want removed. Before goats are brought to your house, Amazon sends pros to assess your property and your vegetation. Goats eat a wide variety of plants, but the pros will decide if theyre right for you. If youre lucky enough to have the service, the pros will determine h

Nepal struck by quake; thousands dead and toll continues to rise
Brian replied to gpatt0n's topic in Paulding County NEWS
Quite a lot of earthquakes in that region. This is so sad! I remember hearing bit about Nepal. The head at my school had to move there with her husband. Last time I heard they later moved to India (or Indonesia). -
Thanks. It will be on again at 2AM and 12PM tomorrow. I have it set to record tomorrow so I can watch later.

Why Remove Popcorn Ceiling When You Can Cover It With Drywall You can google for several ideas.

Not fun doing that - gave me sore neck and arms for days. Maybe look into temporary ceiling wallpapers, tiles or something to get rid of the popcorn ceiling?

DO we really want a president whose children are most likely to commit crime while residing in the White House? They will probably get away with it anyway. Not that I believe Rand has a chance to be our next president. I have heard that plenty of Kentuckians are not fond of the Paul family, especially Rand himself.

I was kind of hoping that Ted or his family would get the team back in their hands. Yes, I believe Ted did and this was how they screwed him like you said. Ted's son-in-law, Rutherford Seydel and some friends bought the Hawks and Thrashers from Time-Warner. Ted's son, Beau later joined in as one of the owners. Ted was probably a silent owner/partner or something.

I am surprised to learn that Ted Turner's son and son-in-law both have decided to sell their shares. At least, the NBA franchisee are staying put in Atlanta! ---- The Atlanta Hawks have a new owner -- a group led by Ares Management LPs billionaire co-founder Tony Ressler, a person familiar with the matter told Atlanta Business Chronicle. Resslers group paid nearly $850 million, Atlanta Business Chronicle has learned. The price is the second-most ever paid for a National Basketball Association team behind Steve Ballmers $2 billion purchase of the Los Angeles Clippers. The trans

Yeah, I know it is similar to RW's. I had RW when it first came out, really liked the services. I had a Motorola Defy XT and had to pay $20 a month. This was before they had Moto X (1st). I have one by Scratch Wireless as my back-up phone. I don't have to pay monthly, I use it as sole WiFi phone.

I wonder how much the doctors get paid to spew stuff like that? I hear Monsanto pay them very well. Not a fan of reality/talk shows like the Dr. Oz and Doctors shows. I have noticed over the years that most people don't bother to research/look up stuff whenever it was recommended/ordered by the doctors or anyone else. -
Google has unveiled its hotly anticipated wireless service Project Fi to prod the telecom industry to make mobile service in the U.S. faster, easier and less expensive. The Internet giant described the project as an opportunity to introduce "new ideas" and "to push the boundaries of what's possible." Google says it has formed partnerships with Sprint and T-Mobile, which have agreed to carry the traffic for Project Fi. Here's rest of the story: Google unveils Fi, new wireless service ------- Right now they are doing Motorola Nexus 6 devices, but I am sure they will add mor

A woman who spent 30 years of her life believing that she suffered from cerebral palsy, only to learn that she had in fact been misdiagnosed and almost all of her symptoms could be cured with just one pill, insists she feels no resentment or anger about her doctors life-changing error. Jean Sharon Abbott, 38, from Plymouth, Minnesota, was told she had spastic diplegia, a form of cerebral palsy, when she was just four-years-old. But after three decades of suffering from muscle spasms, weakness, near immobility, as well as undergoing painful surgical procedures, she learned at the age of 33

Gross to think about this - I try my best to avoid restaurants for many reasons. ---- GASTONIA, N.C. -- Police say a woman was charged after she put a dead cricket on her plate at a Gastonia restaurant so she could get her meal for free. The incident happened Wednesday at an Applebee's on East Franklin Boulevard in Gastonia. Investigators say Shantanya Beasley told an employee at the restaurant that a dead bug was on her food. The employee told Beasley she would not have to pay the $70.25 for her meal because of the bug. However, when Beasley left the restaurant she allegedly

You could excuse the crowd at the Grady College of Journalism’s Centennial gala for holding its breath when Gov. Nathan Deal strode to the podium with a glint in his eye. “I’ve tempered my remarks,” he assured the hundreds of professional communicators assembled in the Athens ballroom on Saturday. “I’m not going to take advantage of this opportunity tonight.” Over the next 15 minutes, the governor explained how his office has developed a work-around to skirt established media when he can. (We’ll note here that he gaggles with reporters at least once a week to field a slew of questions.)
