  5. They should have chosen Chicago in the first place! I think I read somewhere that the Olympic officials were considering to move the events out of Rio, which they should have.
  6. WOW! That place ls larger than the one in Rockmart and Calhoun! I wonder what would happen if I don't get my driving licence renewed until let's say...2 months later?
  7. No thanks! I am not willing to start kissing Mr. Thompson and the Austin brothers' corrupted arses now! Why do we need a director for the airport when the people of Paulding have spoken against the county's move to commercialise the airport? The county needs to accept this and move on. Perhaps, they could try to attract more blue and white collar jobs to the county?
  8. Thanks rockster. I have found it listed on PauldingAirport.com - http://bit.ly/1PyQMT5
  9. They must have found their new full-time director? If so, who it is? The job isn't listed on http://www.paulding.gov/jobs.aspx I didn't think to check over at PauldingAirport.com - this is on their front page: http://bit.ly/1PyQMT5
  10. I've noticed that my stepfather had been receiving NRA-related magazines. He must have renewed his membership with the NRA. I remember telling my mother that her husband had taken his guns out of storage. She said that he was concerned that the government was taking guns away from him and other people. She didn't like it when I was laughing about it.
  11. It seems that Tibbits is a huge supporter of the commercialised airport. It is all over the Internet! He is retired from his position at Georgia Tech.
  12. The very same cousin was involved in what could have been a fatal accident on the tail. He was speeding up on his sport motorcycle and lost control of it. He was thrown to the guardrails. He was very, very, lucky that he only had several broken bones!
  13. I wanted to post a FB video clip where my second cousin was videotaping while driving on the Dragon's tail/Deal's Gap. It looks so scary! I don't know how to convert it into something else and I am not friends with him on FB. Don't think he would remember who I am.
  14. The Paulding County airport, which has spent the last few years in an effort to become a second commercial airport in metro Atlanta, has a new interim director. The Paulding County Airport Authority has named Terry Tibbitts as its interim airport director for a three-month period as it searches for a permanent airport director. Airport authority chairman Calvin Thompson said he has started taking applications and resumes for the director job. Full story: http://on-ajc.com/1ZWy39F
  15. I have Home Free on now though I am not really watching it. Not too crazy over reality shows.
  16. What channel is it on? I just looked it up. It is on the local Fox channel at nine o'clock tonight. Thanks, Lady Raider.
  17. I've been there with my parents for years. I drove on it once on my own. I was trying to get into North Carolina, but the bridge (overpass?) was closed. I ended up lost, and just drove until I got to Maryville, Tenn. After that, I have avoided it like a plague!
  18. If they hadn't made the newspapers and fonts smaller, I would still pay to read the papers!
  19. ATLANTA - Georgia has jumped to number three on the list of top film production centers in the world, according to FilmL.A., Inc., the not-for-profit film office serving the Greater Los Angeles region. The 2015 Feature Film Production Study shows California remains number one as home to 19 film projects released theatrically last year. The study analyzed a sample of 109 U.S. feature films released theatrically last year, identifying where they were filmed and how much was spent to produce them. New York, which had ranked second in the 2014 Feature Film Production Study with 13 p
  20. It just rained for the second time today.
  21. Jordan said a hacker posted untrue quotes from Mohammed bin Salman claiming Riyadh funds Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign. http://bit.ly/1YlkUIn
  22. The Southern Baptist Convention on Tuesday urged Christians to stop displaying the Confederate battle flag, recognizing that it is perceived by many as a "symbol of hatred, bigotry and racism" that offends millions of people. The resolution, originally presented by African-American Pastor Dwight McKissic, had stirred debate and led to at least one call to withdraw it. The version presented to thousands of delegates to the denomination's annual meeting in St. Louis was less strongly worded. Despite some opposition on Tuesday from delegates who thought even the more conciliatory version was di
