My dd did a play with Hal Holbrook and Dixie made a point to come up to her after the show and personally tell her how much she enjoyed watching her; a very gracious lady! My daughter seldom talks about the famous people she meets and works with but made a point to speak about what a pleasure it was meeting Dixie Carter.

I have some jumbo shrimp thawing; so maybe scampi; and not sure about the sides. And a nice glass of chardonnay!

Not only am I glad it will be opening soon for the convenience; but I love the beauty of the water!
-
I am glad you said that because that is what I feel should also take place. I know that right now the family is deeply involved in their grief and arrangements; but I find this completely distasteful and unacceptable.

Actually happened; yesterday. I just feel so bad for the family.

Scenario: Loved one passes away in your home. Police/fire rescue arrives; and later the coroner. Loved one is placed in a body bag; body is "carried" from the home; not on a stretcher; but "free hand", with loved one sagging here, dangling there - "oofs and "aws" from personnel who are doing the carrying. This seems unprofessional and disrespectful in front of the family who loved this person. I know this person has "passed on" but it hits a nerve with me. Is there not "policy" or "procedure" to accomplish the removal of the body with more dignity? It just hurts me that t

Nothing Italian! Had pizza for Easter (our family was sorta sick), then the last 2 days our office catered in lunch for our meetings - and it was Italian. A reeva dare chee!!! LOL!

Just sitting outside with a soft breeze; watching and listening to the birds Watching my pets lounge and sleep in a spot of sunlight Opening the windows and airing out the house Hearing the buzz of the bees The colors of the flowers The warmth Sitting outside with a nice glass of wine and a magazine and watching the grandkids jump on the trampoline Waiting for the next dead animal my cats will bring home as a prize (well, I don't love this part but it is definitely a sign of spring)

When my cats start bringing home their trophies from "hunting". This morning was a partial baby snake on the back patio. Now I worry where the other half is; not in my house, I am hoping.

Almost everything above. Also love canned beets and canned chick peas. But tonight I am going to have a hot dog. YUM!

Since Auto Zone does NOT replace them (I called); I think I might be learning this very quick! LOL.

LOL! These lashes are 61 years old and not nearly as impressive as they once were!! I'll call; just thought someone might already know.

take it to a car repair person? Auto locks have stopped working - think it is a fuse.

You wouldn't want to come here, I am sick. But since eating so little, now feel like I am hungry for something other than fruit or soup. Ckn in some fashion and rice, here - you guys always make the most wonderful dinners!

This has been my theory for many years. Thank you, God, that my loved one does not KNOW that she cannot go to the bathroom by herself; or bathe herself or feed herself. I love that they go to "another place"; the farm, the pasture, fun at the park. Maybe they do not recognize me but they are in a good place of feeling love and happiness. My mom went to a farm or went to her favorite restaurant, and laughed at her sister; thank you Lord, for that peace before the end.

The Dixie Stampede is also wonderful and we can't wait to go again. That is a great area to visit; so much to do! Have fun!

Used a Betty Crocker recipe - Buffalo Chicken and potatoes - it is a casserole. I used ckn tenders instead of thighs. Very quick and easy; takes about 15 minutes to make and then pop it in the oven. It was very tasty and we will definitely make again.

My doctor suggested meditating. Get a book or CD; something simple for beginners. I also like the story about how we add to our own load. I try very hard to not think about anything that I cannot personally change or control. And do consider a doctor. Take care, -
I am trying to be a gracious loser. Congratulations ( in very tiny letters)

Ok, I am trying to be calm - I am waiting for the grand announcement!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In my house before this one, the "teens" used to gather at the front of my house (I had a basketball net there for my grandson who did not live with me and only visited). They would sometimes gather there late at night, play basketball, or sit on the curb and talk and laugh (sometimes loudly). I had a visitor one night who asked, "doesn't that bother you?" and I said, "heck,no". Those are good kids, playing basketball or laughing and talking. I was happy for them to find a comfortable place to socialize. They weren't hurting anyone; they weren't overly loud; they were kids having innocent

I, too, do not like fish and I wish that I did because it is so healthy. I think I will try this. I am also always interested in white wines less than $10 per bottle. I prefer chardonnay or a pinot that is not too sweet. Thanks for the recipe. -
No way I can watch the video. I am very sorry - the day will come and you look back with a huge, warm smile on your face.
