Come on, I'm ready. This is like real winter here this year. My brother in PA said we are having more winter weather than they are! Two weeks ago I was in NYC. The drifts were taller than me on the streets!

Just got home - very icy. The roads look damp but are actually iced. I saw one car down in a ditch on Brownsville (he was out walking around so I guess not hurt). Everyone was going about 5 mph. I slid but it was very subtle. GLAD to be home! I have never seen roads that looked so deceiving.

LOL! I got the same note about 2 wks ago that said my fried was in the same place - London! I ignored it and that was the end of it.

A shameless bump. I have adored this steer for years. I "named" him. After a long, stressed day, he made me smile.

As my mother used to say, "He can eat crackers in my bed anytime!".

Tidwell cuts between Brownsville Rd and 92.

I drive Tidwell Rd each day and have enjoyed just watching this wonderful animal along with all the goats in the pasture. I haven't seen him lately. Does anyone know where he might be?

Jest one kestion, Mister. What is a swim-up bar fly? You know we are going through alot of unemployment right now; not so sure that a bar fly with the defined expertise of "swim-up" would WANT to work in Hiram I know - I have a very sick sense of humor.

Buying from discount stores doesn't usually do the trick. The best luck I have had is with "Yankee Candles" and candles from Pier 1. But sometimes I throw cin stick, cloves and cinnamon in a small amt of water and cook on the stove. I used that religeously when selling my house. It always smelled yummy. Yankee candles have fragrences like "Christmas Cookies", etc. WOW

The medical staff at the hospital will decide if he can indeed grant me POA. We think he is. Believe it or not, I did something similar with another brother 2 1/2 yrs ago. I used a POA that gave me both medical and financial. One of the reasons that no one has been charged is because; no one interviewed the guy who was supposedly with him at the time of the accident. Now it is up to me, from another state, to find the name of the guy who was with him so that person can be interviewed. I always try to support our police officers but they are being very difficult to work with. I don't

I am going to PA in 2 weeks to get a POA, clean out his living quarters (a room)and get access to his bank so I can get his rent caught up. I guess I will try to find an attorney who will at least take a look at the case. Right now, my brother wants everyone to let him die; he is very mentally challenged right now. He will not be sailing off to the Carribean on anything we can recover. This is strictly to either get him back to living on his own, or getting the care he will need in a halfway decent facility. Keep the advice coming - I want to do what is best for him.

That is what I am thinking. Should I approach his insurance company? Or just start talking to attorneys? My brother is not mentally able to handle this. I will have to take the lead.

He has no insurance; he was hit by a car; he has multiple injuries including brain damage and blind since the accident two months ago. Since he has no insurance - he is on disability and medicare, who would send a claim in to the person's insurance who hit him? He was crossing in the middle of the block; not at a crosswalk. So far, they have not charged the driver. I would like to find out if he can get some insurance coverage from her policy. I think this is going to be a very long recovery and not sure he will ever be able to live on his own. He is in Pennsylvania and I am try
