Well, I kind of agree, and I kind of don't. I cuss. I don't feel like I can portray how aggrivated or mad i am about something using words like "gosh darn" or "shoot" lol., BUT i don't talk like that out in public, around kids or any stranger. that's just plain sad. I have been in situations where My son has heard words (like the N word, or MF, or F*g. I would have liked for him to have gone A LOT longer with out hearing the N word. I hate that word. He's heard cussing, but he also knows IT'S NEVER OK for children to talk like that.

Sorry for your mom's trouble. The only way they could keep charging her account is if she gave them her account number. A card transaction and a ACH transactions are entered two totally different ways. There is no way to get someone's account number and Routing number from a debit card. if the debit card is closed, they are done. It's so scary, you have to be really careful who you give your numbers too. and you have to read the extra tiny fine print. It makes it too scarey to order things online. Sad that criminals that smart can't just earn $$ the honest way, instead of risking jail tim

I work in banking. if the only thing compromised is your debit card, you can close it and be fine. there is no way anyone can get your account info from your debit card, the numbers are completely separate. as long as they don't have your account number/MICR number from your check, closing your entire account is not really necessary. It will be more hassle to you for nothing.

did you give them your debit card number or your actual account number? they're different. If you gave your debit card number, you can close just the card and order a new one. anything already autherized will still clear no problem. If you gave them your account number, you need to close the account now. Your bank (I would think) can manually adjust your $10 transaction you are waiting on to post.

The same info given to allow them to deposit will also allow them to debit.

I feel ya CE. I went to pull my garbage can to the curb one day a few weeks ago (while it was still hot out) and my ENTIRE can was Covered with freaking MAGGOTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(and I mean Covered! the can was practically white!) That has NEVER happened before, and we hadn't thrown anything unsual away. I sprayed the can with the water hose several times and they were right back on the can, 20 minutes later. I was so mortified that I called the garbage company and apologized and asked if they knew of anything i could do to get rid of them before the truck came to pick up my garbage.

what's SOP? Fee's are how the employees are paid. from the teller that makes $9 an hour to the higher ups.

The only reason they wouldn't be able to help you is if your PIN number was used. But if you card number was stolen and used as a charge they are supposed to file a claim with their fraud department. if they wont help you, I would call the company that charged you and find out what you can (ie. what was purchased, under what name, where is the product(s) being mailed) and if they wont refund your $$, file a police report.

Most of the old staff is at the marietta branch. Miss Pat is a sweetheart(been there for YEARS), and Sarah (who actually came from IBM CU)is too sweet. those are my two faves at that branch.
