We do each spend one on one time with each of our three kids. We usually have to force her unless we are shopping! But we do try. As far as a boyfriend - NOT THAT I KNOW OF!!! She says she isn't into boys because they are so immature and silly. Teachers haven't noticed anything as far as a boyfriend or negative friends. All the friends I know of are A/B students. Please tell me it will get better! I'm not sure if I'll survive her puberty!!!
It will get better! The prank call may be to an old friend or someone who hurted her once. Good Luck!

A 13 year old girl is going to do what she is going to do. It may be because you and your husband are bring close and maybe she feels like she isn't getting the attention. Have you spent any time with her? Maybe you should. Sometimes a teenage girl needs some time with her mother. Does her dad spend time with her?
Does she have a boyfriend? Most teenage girls who have a boyfriend do not do well in school because they are too focused on the guy. That is why I will not let my daughter have a boyfriend.
