Large mosquito population expected in Georgia
lindageorgiasouth replied to lucky64's topic in RECENT TOPICS
That blood type thing is not wholly acurate...I am type A+ and they swarm me within 30 seconds of walking out the door....my son and Mon are type O and rarely get a bite. It has be be more about your individual body chemistry. I have lived here for 7 years and I have never known Hiram to spray for mosquito abatement..many, many other towns in 'GA do spray. Summer is basically ruined for me when I can sit out on my porch or deck and enjoy the warm nights. I'd be more than happy to risk the spraying chemicals to avoid a mosquito transmitted disease. -

They are already here....I've never seen so many and they attack me instantly. Why doesn't this town spray for them like they do in so many other towns??? It really doesn't make any sense to me!!! -

I personally know this to be true. I have had two friends and a relative with children in this situation. There is NO significant long-term care or Help for these people. It is beyond Shameful the lack of mental health treatment in this country.

LOOK at the face of socialized medicine

Girl, you just need to grow up. I often suspect your arrogant attitude is a symptom of your immaturity. I hope you will not have to learn the hard way (but you probably will), that unforseen circumstances can interrupt your life and ability to work and devastate the happy life you are used to living. Then you find yourself needing assistance....and NOT because you were lazy. Please stop living up to your name. -

According to the Mayo Clinic,"with very rare exceptions, people with mild liver disease can safely take most common rx's." It is very possible for infants and children to be exposed to Hep.B. at birth, from a family member ,at school and daycare. HepB infection in infants and children usually produces no symptoms, so these individuals can spread the infection to others without knowind it. -

Don't know if this is accurate or not, but probably not as bad as contracting Hep B...! -
