Get the tags and such right now, and plead to the judge your circumstances. Depending on the mood of the judge that day, who knows??

Love my mother, just wish I had a MUTE button at certain times

Yeah, in my life time I never would thought 8-track tapes would be over-taken by CD discs. LOL

after looking at this topic again, I do not believe Ridge Rd ballpark is supported by the county (parks & rec). I believe it is a private community supported ballpark. I could be wrong

Is that pig still out there. Seems like that place has been vacant forever

I hope they can make a go of it. I know someone that spoke to the owner last week and he is very positive about it. But I know the rent is very high and for a restuarant that is only open a select few days of the week I would think the revenue would not be there to support the bills. JMO

They will be re-opening in about a 1-1/2 weeks in the Cotton Gin Plaza after they finish some remodeling

Been there, done it as a landlord just for the sole purpose of an investment. You have some great tenants, then you have the bad apples that cause damage and headaches, and leave. Learned the hard way, but those that would ever rent from me......credit/referral check, AND 100% security deposit and first months rent before they would get the keys.

Or the bears!!!

I use to just put the used syringes in an empty 2-liter bottle and the next visit to the doc would dispose of them. Although the shots were for a different drug my wife needed at the time

I never have come across that but have heard folks that have. Too many people in a hurry to get their stuff and leave. Most of those self check out machines keep beeping to remind you to get your money, same as a ATM if you leave your card in it

Who knows, I always heard is was a huge tax right off from a group of folks years ago. I knew the original owners of TSS, and they always mentioned high rent, no service from landlord. I was lead to believe from others, it was a tax shelter. I could be wrong

Well, just came back from restaurant row in Hiram. The sign from the oyster bar has been taken down from Owens strip center. Lots of activity at the Cotton Gin Restaurant with construction. Hope it suceeds, and hope they are die hard business folks cause the neighbors next door do not like a simple threat that may affect their bottom $$$$$$. Just saying. I truly think it would be a great thing in this area of the county to have a neat place to eat, and if one wanted to visit a place next door to have live entertainment and such.

I think the law is 500'. Must be a different church. I know there was one on the lower level when Dat's Amore was operating out of the Cotton Gin, way prior to TSS opening

Thanks for the info. We did the 4H event a couple of years ago down by station 5 on Ridge Rd. Gonna bother you with a couple of more questions; When does the last ride /startend??? How many does the ride hold as we have been known to come in a large group, about a dozen or so.

Sounds like fun!!! A few of us have over the last few years gone to some local haunted hay rides. This is in the hood very close by. Count us in!!!!! Refresh me on the dates, times, and cost please

Good point! I have never been there, but thought they did not serve anyways, I could be wrong. What is the limit distance for an establishment to be able to serve from a church or school???? The Spotlight is awefully close to the church. Although I would love to see a restaurant make it good in the building, soo many others have failed in that building

Sounds like union run. "I could do it, but that ain't my job"

Depends on how much a buyer is willing to pay

My neighbors enjoy them while travelling on a roadtrip. She told me a few years ago that you can rent them at Cracker Barrel, and return them at any Cracker Barrel location

Yes, according to the news story -
It's a regulated scoring system folks, from our health dept system. For those of you saying if a score is below 90 at a restaurant and would walk out from the get go, how would you rate your childs test scores? Are they a A+ student? How are childrens tests/scores really rated??
-
As others have pointed out, if you are uncomfortable about the score when you walk in, walk right back out. Although, maybe educate YOURSELF where a low score may have come from!!! Some of the scoring has nothing to do with food prep, cooking, etc........ It could be something simple as a shared garbage dumpster 100 feet away from the food establishment that may have had a lid open during the inspection. Use your own sense, if you walk in a restaurant and it does not look clean in your eyes...........leave. People bark about aweful waffle all the time, in my mind at least you can watch th

Who do I contact about the Christmas Parade?
rockster replied to Taylor's P.A.L.S.'s topic in RECENT TOPICS
I know Sam was the main contact the last couple of years. In the past TBAR was involved in it, but not sure if he still is. I think they make the decision of the theme in Sept, and then that is when the info is released -
Hollywood Squares was hilarious. Back in the time when most of it was ad lib and unedited
