Been to many a few years ago.............which years I am at a loss at. I have memory loss as well -
Years ago Regions Bank across from the old courthouse was a drop off point for toys. The donations, as I was told, stayed within PC, not shipped off to a nearby community and/or state. Such as, the toy donations dropped off at the UPS shipping store are shipped away to another area, they do not stay in this community for distribution.

I would imagine they get a ton of revenue from the business' on restaurant row. Unlike a nearby city, Hiram welcomes business such as allowing outdoor activities such as outdoor seating at restaurants. Heck, they even toss on some fine concerts and such at Ben Hill Strickland Park. They even have a purdy CHRISTMAS Tree decorated down by the tracks. Doubt you would find that in Dallas

why change it???? You will only have to do it agian in a few months. I am a strong believer in wondering "WHY" most states still do this since it seems to be a huge "PIA" to most. Keep in mind two states in the union do not participate in the time change

Sadly Don, I doubt HPD nor the PCSO has stepped up any routine zone patrols in the subdivision. I do live in the subdivision. You explained something to me a couple of years ago about "who has jurisdiction" in the subdivision. Does not make a crap to me, but appears to be a fine line between if PCSO or Hiram will respond to a 911 call @Lakeside & Swan Dr. Aside from those issues, as the op stated it is sad about theives and such. I have a dear friend on Swan Ct that had their home broke into months ago, much less the recent stabbing activity that happened on JB Rd. I wish folks wou -
Be practical. Get her like an emergency kit. Something with a flashlight, batt op radio, etc. Ya know something to have on hand in case of power outage or bad storms

LOL. That has been the "rules" for many years, but not enforced. About 4 years ago was my first time participating in the parade and I witnessed many tossing out candy to the crowd, even the SWAT team was pelting candy from the top of their van. IMO, be frugal with giving out the candy towards the beginning of the parade, as many run out of candy way before they even approach the grand stand (end of parade)

Been there a few times and love it. Speaking with the owner he def has some big plans for the place. I can't wait until next spring time when the outdoor patio area is open. And it's fresh seafood from what I have seen. Hell, if you are in the main dining area they shuck the oysters right there in front of you

Thinking on the same ground. What about the vacant Poplar Springs church on 92 near 278. Never been there, but I believe it has a separate bldg behind the church that may be of some interest. I am not sure if the church moved down the road just for expansion purposes, or if they knew in the future 92 would be widened. I would imagine the building behind the church has restroom facilties, separate rooms, as well as maybe kitchen facilities. Just a thought

Ingles is just up the street, go buy some stuff to start marinated it while you wait on GSP

Rolling roadblock. Check point, etc. Many local jurisdictions from surrounding counties partake. If you don't drink and drive nothing to worry about, it's a safety checkpoint

It's seasonal work just for the holidays, meaning you would not be considered a full time employee and your position is on a short term basis.

I agree with you as I have been certified in food safety and food handling. Until we see the the full report, you have to admit a score of 29 must have come from some serious issues, but less if the score was posted at the establishment as required, how many folks do you think would dine there after seeing a 29 as deemed by the health dept???????

UPS is hiring for the holiday seasonal work. It's contract work, but pays well

Did ya notice the score La Cocina got??? Yeppers, YIKES!!!!! A 29!!!!!!! Even though a bunch of us over time have meet there for lunch, a score that low does not just appear to be a "silly" little deduct on the inspection. A score of 29 must have a bunch of issues involved.

the 911 feature works on a disconnected land line, much less an old cell phone.
