  1. They also just reported Seaboard to Hiram Sudie on 92 is shut down, cars can't make the hill
  2. I know a few folks that play every Thursday night at TSS and/or HS on that league. PM your number and I will forward it to them
  3. You are soo cruel!!! I used to have a craving for those
  4. I'd rather roll down a hill in a chair!!! LOL
  5. Sorry to hear about your job loss markdavd. Like a couple of others have mentioned age and retirement age, as well as those losing their homes, a bunch of people are in a mess. Sadly one thing that came to mind when SS posted about people reaching retirement age, I believe many retirement goals have been shattered due to people being laid off/out of work for months, many years, and have exhausted savings and other retirement plans just to make ends meet. I can see a vast majority of people having to work well past retirement age in the long term future.
  6. I say legal. What's private about them? They are displayed in public for anyone to view
  7. For those of you concerned and are questioning the increase in your bill. Do just a little extra work. Get the meter reading dates off of your bill or request the dates from the power company. Every month on that date, walk out to your meter and write down the current reading. Compare that reading when you get your next bill. After your second reading you will be able to see the actual usage w/in those reading dates.
  8. R&R Oyster Bar. Located in the Cotton Gin Plaza, Hwy 92 @ Nebo Rd
  9. I agree, and as mentioned earlier is was during the holidays when most folks might have had more people in their homes. My suggestion before you call about it, is to sit down and study your bill. Greystone has a nice graph on the bill which shows your last 13 months usage. Compare how much kwh you used last month compared to the previous month, days of service, etc. If you call about it all they are gonna do is recite the same information on your bill
  10. I agree the topic post is a bit misleading. (even amazed the mods have not changed it due to non commerce name). But honestly it sounds like hopefully those that lose their jobs in their current status have an opportunity to be hired by the outsource company or offered anothe postion w/in Sam's or WM
  11. As mentioned the proper way would be to have all the work permitted and inspected. A couple of downsides is your property tax will increase due to you adding value to the property, and you may need to look into if you will need to increase your insurance coverage. For an example, my next door neighbor had finished his basement many years ago where one of his daughters lived. A few years ago he went to refi or get a 2nd mortgage on the house. When the appraiser pointed out the fact of the basement being a "livable space", the lender forced him to not only get add'l insurance, but forced him
  12. Honestly, I would be asking the so called "Security Infrastruture" WTH happened and how did this happen.
  13. What are you looking for? To buy an insurance policy today to go to the dentist tomorrow to have insurance coverage?
  14. About a year ago, a car did the same thing at K on Ridge, and had the specialty plate "educator". What an example
  15. Additionally, I have been told in the past that they have an offsite storage facility where they can accept larger items such as furniture and such
  16. That is correct, they do not disclose the location. In the past a few of us have raised donations for them. They would send a rep out to meet us to pick up the donations
  17. Call your agent and make a claim if in fact it has an impact on the structure
  18. Horsey sauce, hot sauce, and crackers disguise oysters. Afterall, oysters have no distintive taste
  19. Sad this happened. But also goes to prove what the news media hype is soo inconsistant in reporting. Three websites earlier watching this breaking news had a bunch of conflicts in the reports
  20. Do a mixture of spinach, chopped garlic, breadcrumbs, and parm cheese. Top oysters with this mixture and bake
  21. Baked or maybe sauteed in a skillet with some seasonings
  22. South Paulding, Nebo/Dallas Nebo area. Call your agent ASAP and have an insurance adjuster come out and inspect> I believe the hail storm was in April, and you have to file a claim w/in a year of the damage
