  1. My husband and I are sometimes both too tired! He does construction and is really tired when he comes home. As most couples are, we were at it all the time when we first got together. Now it's tapered off. But I'm like some of you other women on here, no need to waste time - - - lets's just get down to it!!! Not always, but a lot of times it's like that. I've always been that way and it doesn't mean that I don't like it. I enjoy it very much!!! There are other times when I like to fool around and take a LONG time.

I went through a phase when I hated it. I was going to school and working full time. I had two kids: one with behavioral problems and one who was Miss Social Butterfly and was involved in an activity every day of the week. I had no sex drive whatsoever. I would rather have cut my arm off than had sex. Yes, we went almost two years without it. And, yes, he loved me enough to understand and stay with me and work it out. I talked with my OB/GYN and it turned out that my hormones were out of balance. She gave me some medication which cleared it up after about a month.

  2. I agree that if she has to pay any sort of restitution that her parents will pay it and get her out of it. Regardless, SHE NEEDS SOME TYPE OF CONSEQUENCES!!! The fair thing to do is make her do community service for each hour that was spent on the search. They should figure up how much it cost the county and then subtract $5.15 or whatever the minimum wage is for every hour that she does community service. That way, it will take a LONG time to do the community service and she'll have a long time to think about why her spoiled, selfish, uncaring A$$ did what she did!!! Also, I like the idea of the poster who said 6 months in county lock-up. I know it won't happen but it would maybe teach her a lesson.

I heard on the news this morning that her fiance still wants to marry her. If so, then he's as much of a nut as she is and they deserve each other. If they get married, I hope they make each other miserable for a long, long time. I just hope that the two nuts don't have any kids. I cannot imagine bringing kids into a household where both parents obviously need mental help and need it BAD!!!

  3. OH MY GOD!!!

My heart dropped when I read this. I also live in Poole Bridge Park and the same night, my husband forgot to pull my car into the garage. It sat in the driveway all night, unlocked, keys in the ignition, with my purse and $500 of my daughter's rent money in it! I guess they didn't come down far enough into the subdivision.

3kids4us: I'm so sorry this happened to you. We've felt pretty safe since we knew someone had been arrested. Looks like he might be at it again, or his friends have taken over where he left off. I agree that you should be able to leave whatever you want in your car while it's in your driveway and it should be safe.

Ours won't be left out again!!

  4. I think she should be charged and made to repay every penny that was spent during the search and any other expense that was incurred while she pulled this stunt. She should be arrested, put in jail with real criminals for a few hours, and then made to post bond. There needs to be some consequences for what she did. I don't care how "panicked" she was about the wedding, she had no right to put people who love and care about her through what she did. She had it planned and knew exactly what she was doing. And then to LIE about being kidnapped!!!

I hope her fiance sees this as a blessing and runs like hell as far away from her as he can. It's better he found out now than later when there might be kids involved.

I have absolutely no sympathy for her. I do feel deeply for her family and fiance. They are the ones who really suffered.

    She needs counseling BAD!!!

  5. I think the problem is that she lied about being kidnapped. Kind of like the story made up by Susan Smith. Anyway---I'm glad she's alive but she must be a little nuts to do somthing like that. That was just thoughtless to put her parents through that. I'm much rather my daughter come to me and say she's changed her mind about getting married rather than take off and me think she's been abducted.

    I'm just glad she's alive.

  6. I am so sorry this happened to your little dog. It just breaks my heart. But I have to agree with those who say it's the owner's fault if the dog is mean. I had a pit/chow mix and she was the sweetest, most docile animal I have ever been around. She wouldn't hurt anyone or anything and was smart as could be. We always treated her like a baby. My youngest daughter rescued an abandoned pit from a new subdivison about 4 years ago. He had been badly abused and we nursed him back to health. We kept him in our fenced-in back yard and he did not like anyone coming into his space. If he was out in the yard with us, he wouldn't hurt anyone. He just like to protect his space and would bit anyone who tried to come into the back yard if we weren't there. We did end up giving him away because this kid who lived in our neighborhood like to torment him and we knew he'd hurt this kid if he ever got out.

I love pit bulls!! They are beautiful, smart dogs. They will be sweet and loving if treated right. The owners have to teach them to be mean. They are protective though and can make excellent guard dogs. We had many wonderful hours with Spot before we gave him away. I still miss him even though we now have a wonderful chocolate lab.

Again, I'm sorry about your baby and I hope the bastards who turned their dog on him are punished. Unfortunately, they probably will just get a smack on the hand because some people don't understand how much others love their pets.

  7. I saw this on the 6:00 news. The fiance showed absolutely no emotion. It gave me chills. One of her friends was interviewed, too, and she didn't seem upset either. The mother was the only one who seemed upset.

The police have called off the search because they said there was no evidence of foul play. That makes no sense to me. A woman is missing. They need to keep looking until she is found.

My daughter lives in Duluth and I cautioned her about going anywhere alone.

  8. This is so sad. I would never have left a 2 & 3 year old alone outside while I went back into the house, not matter what the reason. They are just not old enough to know the dangers that may be lurking. I just hope and pray it turns out to be a terrible accident and that the parents are not involved in any way.

  9. I saw this on the new last night. At that time, the officer was in surgery. I'm so sorry to hear that he didn't make it. I also heard that it was a car full of teenagers that was approached because of suspected drug activity. My prayers are with the officer's family all others in law enforcement.

  10. No one who molests a child should have any rights. In my opinion, they gave up their rights when they decided to hurt the child. The molester took away the rights of an innocent child. Why should a pervert have any rights?!?

And like already said, these people cannot stop being child molesters. They can try to control their sickness but it cannot be cured. They should not be allowed out of prison.

  11. This new fragrance is available everywhere expensive cologne is sold. I saw it at Gwinnett Place Mall when I was shopping with my daughter. I was a little surprised when I saw it. I didn't bother to check it out.

  12. My husband got laid off from his job when we returned from our honeymoon. What a shock that was!! I will certainly say a prayer that the interview goes well.

Craftygal is right about a window opening. I'm sure God has something better in store for him.

    Keep us posted.

  13. We have a pond and have had it for about 6 years. We didn't have fish until two years ago. We started with 3 Koi and two were pretty big. The first year the white one disappeared. Then not too long ago the big orange one disappeared. We still have the calico one.

My husband was leaving for work last Wednesday and noticed a hawk sitting on top of our backyard swing frame. The hawk was eyeballing our pond. He swooped down and got a frog!! Flew back up on the swing frame and ate him!!!

My husband was blown away. We always say it's like having the discovery channel in our back yard.

I'm betting on the hawk!!! I just bought 3 goldfish from Petsmart on Monday. I hope they make it!!!
