Helicopter is off the ground enroute to Atlanta Medical Center.

Two vehicles involved: a Ford Explorer and a truck; heavy damage; entrapment; they have asked for a helicopter; there is at least one child involved
Please say a prayer for everyone involved in this accident, including those working the scene.
The helicopter is going to land at the scene. Extrication has begun.
From Metromont to Poole Road will be shut down.

It just came over the scanner that at least one officer is out with a juvenile near Harmony Grove Church Road. I pray that this is the boy they are looking for.

If it will save me some tax dollars, I'm all in favor of keeping non-violent offenders out of prison.

We just came through there about 10 minutes ago, and they had the Auto Zone parking lot blocked off, and Life Flight was on the ground in the vacant lot. I came right in and turned on the scanner in time to hear them say the helicopter was off the ground and headed to Scottish Rite.
Does anyone know what happened? Prayers said for this child.

I just turned the scanner on and they have called for a helicopter at the school due to a traumatic injury. The bird is about 10 minutes out.

There was a white older model Ford explorer pulled over on the side of the road further up on Cleburne Parkway. I thought it was a witness or someone who had stopped to help. I wonder why it was farther up the road.

It was just off that there wasn't obvious that the bus hit. I was wondering if it hit a car, and the car took off. I just hope everyone is ok.

My heart breaks for this family. They will certainly be in my prayers.

I came by this about 15 minutes ago. The bus was stopped, and the front was kind of messed up. There was a young girl sitting on the side of the road and a boy standing in front of the bus talking on a cell phone. I didn't see what the bus hit. One sheriff's car was there and two more came up as I was passing through. I came in and turned the scanner on but haven't heard anything.
Anyone have any info?

Involving motorcycle. Closer to Morningside and Morris. Rider has been ejected into woods.

They just called for a lift for the truck and motorcycle. Nothing has been said about injuries. Hopefully, there are none or they're not serious.

Motorcycle vs. passenger car. One male laying in roadway. Med 4 responding.

3rd patient in route to Kennestone. All rescue personnel are back in service. Scene has been turned over to Dallas PD and GSP.

Patient has been turned over to Clark's for transport.

Helicopter is 12 minutes from the landing zone. Personnel said they didn't call for an air ambulance.
The 3rd patient is extricated at this time.

If I heard right, one patient going to Kennestone and one going to Paulding. Haven't heard anything else about the person entrapped.

278 westbound is shut down. A BOLO has been issued for the navy blue F-150.

Navy blue Ford F-150 lost a trailer which struck another vehicle. The truck kept going westbound on 278. There is heavy damage to the vehicle that was struck. A caller advised that one person was on the ground and another was trapped in the vehicle. Something was also mentioned about a child in the vehicle. Something also said about one person pinned between vehicles - maybe the trailer and the vehicle that was struck - not sure.
3 patients - 1 entrapped, 2 out of the vehicle.

If she 'cried rape' then the only thing she could have claimed was that it was against her will which is a forceable rape...not statutory rape. Statutory rape means she would have admitted she was a willing participant yet the law was broken because she was not old enough to legally give consent. They are even not remotely the same situation.
Regardless of the situation, it's sad that some of the people on the list might not have actually committed a crime that justified them being put on the list. I agree that these two should not have been having sex, but they were and had been been for quite a while. Because the girl was afraid of her dad, she told a lie that has basically ruined someone's life. She told her dad it was rape when, in fact, it was VERY consensual.
Now daddy's little miss do no wrong has a child and is a dancer at a men's club in Atlanta. I'm not bashing what she does or that she has a child. It's just that she was NOT innocent and caused someone to go to jail, which I can understand (statuory rape - which does not always get jail time), for a crime that they really did not commit (rape). This guy ended up taking a plea to child molestation intead of rape which, in my opinion, was just as bad and still wrong.

Possibly three vehicles involved. A silver Izuzu Rodeo and a large red truck. No info on other vehicle. One patient is unconscious from hitting his head - 48 year old male.
Tonight is not a good night.
