    I was listening to the scanner yesterday -- but then it went out -- and still has not come back on -- anybody know what gives?

    I will check into the K9 -- sounds interesting. Right now, with the help from Mike "A Friendly Geek", mine is running Open DNS -- it works awesome! Love it! Thank you for the info and link -- I will check it out.

    There is a training exercise for law enforcement at Moses Middle School -- I got a nixle alert for it. Maybe that is what you are hearing.
