  1. Maybe I'll tell them to press 1 when and IF i get around to talking with a human being. Hey, here's another number if anyone is having problems: (888) 823-4281
  2. One of our TVs lost signal last night. We tried to call and upon entering our phone number the recording says it doesn't recognize the number. We've only had the crazy number for 15 years. Then it's sending me to the billing office, even though I press #1 for "Trouble with my service". Okay, I can deal with that. No problem....when they answer they can transfer me. Well, IF THEY WOULD ANSWER THE PHONE! They didn't answer last night and so far, no luck today. Anyone else having trouble to the point where they are like me and am just about to go back to the dish? I understand
  3. NINE! NINE! NINE! Sounds like Hitler yelling NO!. Just wanted to brighten your day. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!
  4. Still counting......hold on.....I'm up to 976 right now.
  5. I used to mess with the DW and call it "Low Real". I suppose the reason I have been so fearful for her this past year is partly because of the amount of traffic and aggresive drivers in our area. I remember very well growing up in small town, southern Ohio where there were nights when I'd drive home from my grocery store job and not meet a single vehicle. Teens just starting to drive these days and in our area face MUCH greater risk than I ever did at 16 or 17 years or age. My heart goes out to all parents of teen drivers and the teens who are driving. There is not a night that
  6. I meant to tell you, PSD. LOVE the new sig pic. On that note, she'll be driving my truck for a while....not the Vette!
  7. I appreciate it folks. As HJH mentioned. it is my hope that this experience will make her much more cautious in the future. I think everyone would agree that a person can't imagine the trauma of an accident until you have been involved in one.
  8. You know what I'm talking about.....Teens and Vehicle Accidents. On my way home last night I get the call I knew would eventually come, but have been dreading. The DD is in an accident. but thanks to the Lord, she is okay. She has been driving for almost a year and has been doing a good job. It was my hope that it would be many more years before she experienced her first accident, but that wasn't the way it went. Just like most all parents, the car is NOT the concern, it's your child. It's up in the air at the moment whether the vehicle is totaled or not. It's in pretty bad s
  9. The idiot could probably plead insanity and get away with it. As irritated as I have become with children carrying on in public, the LAST thought on my mind would have been to strike them! That is INSANE! He is where he needs to be. I wouldn't want to be his attorney and try to argue his case. He'll make a plea, that is unless his attorney is equally insane and suggests he takes the case to trial where 12 citizens will throw him under the jail and swallow the key. There is simply no rational defense to his actions.
  10. We REALLY need the extra parking also. A couple of years ago I was quoted a little over $3,000.00 for a 2 car size pad. It's just a little out of reach right now.
  11. Prayers offered for your Father and Family.
  12. Somtimes you do what you gotta do CA. You may imagine what kind of calls I receive, so over the years I have learned to smooth them out with a decent level of success. Of course I record any such calls so it's easy for me to keep good customer service in mind. My customers typically don't get what they want, but they do get someone who will listen. I have a collection of classic calls and am seriously thinking about making a CD to sell. Well, maybe not.
  13. That reminds me, you need to return the Kevlar vest you borrowed. On second thought, maybe you should keep it for a while...
  14. Cool They built stuff to last didn't they? The folks in New Orleans should consider hiring a crew of Canaanites to build their new levy system.
  15. Sure, but you'd probably give me a different kind than what I asked for!
  16. JUST GIVE ME WHATEVER YOU WANT. YOU'RE GOING TO ANYWAY! I should sue....everyone knows sugar can deminish a body's singing ability. They're just lucky it's not the weekend is all I can say!

I'll have to look later. Those stupid internet filters here won't let me. I was feeling better, but the filter thing set me off again!
  18. First of all, in my younger years I worked in a VERY busy Pizza Restaurant, so I can gripe if I like. I think the reason they hired me is because I don't like pizza and they knew I wouldn't eat up their profits. But anyway, what part of "Large Coffee, CREAM ONLY" sounds remotely like "Large Coffee, cream and SUGAR"!? I appreciate getting all the way to the office before I find out. Do I really have to open the coffee and take a sip to determine whether or not you paid enough attention to prepare such a SIMPLE order? I guess so. I've had to do it before, and I will start do
  19. You know what? I could have gone ALL DAY without that information.
  20. Do what I do, put the remote in a zip lock bag. A little redneckish maybe, but it works!
  21. I wouldn't want to be.....potty training a puppy!
