  1. I guess I'll have to find a new one, AtlantaBry. I'm sure there are some good ones, but you know how it is when you get used to one place. We will have a lot of memories about Mt. Fuji. I'll have to check out the places you mentioned. Thanks
  2. So are they going to have a Frozen T-Shirt contest? I'm surprised they'd allow such a thing!
  3. Yes, Daytona Beach I love it to. Thats the 4th floor of the Sand Dollar Condo, down there around the Oceans Condos and near the Port Orange bridge. I'm counting down to June already. We'll probably be a the Catalina Beach Club where we own our week, but every once in a while I have to stay at the Sand Dollar. I love the security and the underground parking. I had to edit the 10th to the 4th floor. I got my years mixed up. Typical
  4. Phew! That was a close one. I feel better.
  5. Oh, I didn't realize you had a cruel streak... I better watch my mouth 'round you... Maybe I should come and watch that. NAW! I'll stay in front of the fire place.
  6. I don't know about the Thanksgiving accident, but there was one at that intersection this morning when I went through at about 7 AM. It appeared to be a left turn and failure to yield. That seems to happen frequently there.
  7. Repeat after me...... BEACH...SURF...SUN...FUN...BEACH...SURF....SUN....FUN
  8. True. I hate it for the folks who lost their jobs. I guess I'm going to have to search the net for instructions on how to make my own Onion Volcano at home... OH! and I need to find one of those tall, red hats to flip shrimp tails into. I always wondered if they gave them to the cats who hang around the dumpster at night. Poor Cats! They'll go hungry..
  9. My daughter's boyfriend told me last night that he stopped off at Mt. Fuji in Marietta yesterday and it was Slap Cleaned Out and vacated!!! The lovely and gracious Mrs. Reacher and I have been going there for over 20 years on special occasions. It was a little expensive, but we always enjoyed eating there for birthdays and nearly every anniversary. I'm sure many of you enjoyed Mt. Fuji as much as we did. I hope someone posts and tells me they moved instead of closed. I'll never again find that wonderful steamed rice with sauce like that. Boo Hoo!
  10. That reminds me of a time when my buddy and I were riding around town and the po-po got behind us. I didn't want to look back, so I asked my buddy if the po-po had his blue lights on. He said, "yes...no....yes..yes...no...yes,yes,yes....no, yes"
  11. It's a nasty morning. I hope he has some cover to work under.
  12. It's my fault. he's outside working on my DD's car.
  13. I haven't heard enough about it to know what the police think happened, but he does not HAVE to cooperate or submit to further questioning. The police may get ticked, but they can not compel him. If I had to guess, I would imagine someone with his resouces would have his attorney tell the police that he will not make any further statements and if they have enough to charge someone, go right ahead. The police typically try to identify wounds or marks on a vicitm to make a DV arrest, unless they were present at the time. I have no idea if that is what they are trying to charge him or his w
  14. That would be a decent way to articulate it. "When approached, the offender made an overt, threatening act and I responded with the neccessary force to stop the offender from causing great bodily harm or death to myself or a third party"
  15. Y'all have been watching that Notebook movie, haven't you? They offered us a small sum to make a movie about our marriage, but they wanted to call it "The Comic Book". It never really caught on...
  16. Okay, let's just say he died from an accelerated case of lead poisoning.
  17. That's just GREAT. Now it's going to be all over town!
  18. I just listen to them once, then delete them.
  19. I just heard the news update on the radio! FANTASTIC!
  20. No, sorry, you have an oil pan to install on my DD's bug.
  21. Intersting thought. Would you be talking about the old "common law" type marriage? IMHO, the ceremony is similar to baptism; a public witness/demonstration of an inward commitment.
  22. Many of them could provide high school graduation pictures of their kids, the way things are today. The old cart before the horse is the standard now. That is, if you want to call them "standards"
