Our union when taking customers to visit in the Midwest would stop mid sentence from talking to customer to get there union 15 minute break. True story. As stated before it might still work for some but not for most anymore. Another good union story from the railroad. A guy I used to go to HS with was fired for (3 months)after failing a drug test for the 3rd time & made 85% of his salary for sitting home?? Due to union rules? Yea thats fair..Granted this has been 10 years ago but who does that..

Ok in my naive little world were I have been employed for 30 years by a privately owned company we don't have people being let go for pregnancy ,or service in the armed forces, etc. and we are not union . Considering that I travel the northern part of ga representing my companies products and services ,I come in contact with mostly privately owned companies who like my company don't do business that way either . Only two companies that I deal with are union so obviously they are to big for me to actually be aware of there company practices however I do recall them losing a lot of work recently

Do you have laws were you live?
-
Do they not have a HR dept? Why would have to rely on unions for that ? Sounds like a pretty low level company to fire a pregnant woman there are laws that apply not unions

Caterpillar didn't think so either ,but slowly they are turning away totally from the unions and bringing factories to the south , Texas, Ark, and two soon to be three in Ga.they are getting rid of the corrupt Midwest ( dollar to our resident senile poster). My stocks, are climbing everyday Time was they had a place not so much anymore.

White snake ,here I go again. Dude give it a rest . I think everyone got your stance about 21 days ago repeating yourself does nothing but make you sound like rain man and doesn't get you respect to the contrary it turns people off to you. We have a election coming to get your point across go stump against the incumbents. Maybe that will satisfy your urge.

Some more info 2nd page halfway down THIS This 10-‐year commitment would allow every region of Georgia to see a steady increase of jobs, which would positively impact the economy of local communities. If the sales tax is passed, it will free up funds previously allocated to transportation and those will now be eligible for additional regional priorities. A 10-‐year tax allows regions to provide real solutions to serious transportation problems. TSPLOST TRUTHS.pdf

Banning Lead Bullets Would Help Save Animals?

As an avid waterfowler it is worse for the birds than a slingshot. Alot dont die right off and flyaway to bleed out. Steel does not have knock down power as lead so it just passes thru so you have quite a bit of cripples. As for using in a rifles how many cripples would that cause? I'll let them figure it out but there is not enough lead left laying around from a rifle to amount to anything unlike a shot shell used for birds where 100 bb are held in each casing. It was being used by birds like gravel in there gullet to grind there food down causing lead poisioning supposedly. So I can understa -
Coming from you I'll take that as a compliment
