You didn't by chance, eat at The WildFlower Cafe, did you. They have the biggest and best Hamburger. I can only eat half of it at a time. We love Mentone, AL and Asheville, NC and Highlands, NC and Dillard, GA, the list could go on and on. We went to the DeSoto Falls about a year ago and the railing was so dangerous, really I should say, the LACK OF RAILING. It had me troubled for quite some time. I tell my Children, I don't care about a gift, as long as I get a Card!!! A handmade card is even better but, either is fine. I'm a card keeper!!!! Really, when you get a certain age, you have "everything" and really DON'T NEED anything, a card is good.

I knew.............. You know that old saying, "If it sounds too good to be true, IT PROBABLY IS!" This happened with JC Penney, year before last. I saw an ad on FB (maybe) it was for a Step2 plastic Picnic Table with an Umbrella for $12.48. I knew it was too good to be true but, I thought there may be a slim chance it was a clearance sale. I had nothing to loose, so I ordered and a few days later, I got the email of the cancellation. However, I did get a $50 credit, for my trouble.

Oh and TheLecroyGang, makes the BEST homemade Carrot Cake!!!!! I haven't forgotten, in case you were wondering. my cake is pretty good but, still not as good as your cake.

My daughter, made The General, a Homemade German Chocolate Cake for his Birthday, it was soooooo good!!! I'm not one for German Chocolate but, that was the best one I have ever ate. I'm ready for some more Carrot Cake, Pumpkin Bread or Pumpkin Roll, Sweet Potato Casserole, Egg Custard Pie, Cream Cheese Danish and what ever else I can bake. Oh, I almost forgot, Coconut Cake, all of these cakes and pies are homemade!!!

I loved the shoe selection and they even had some Bob's shoes on clearnce. But, you WILL be blinded with sooooo much Alabama stuff. I know the store IS in Alabama and they are proud of the teams but, just never expected almost 75% of the store to be Alabama stuff.

Yes, I do not know all of the details but, the wife in the home can't work, due to the disabled spouse needing help. He has a service dog but, as far as I know, she has to take care of him, in some capacity.

Yes, we moved here just before the building boom!!! Mid 97 and it was still kind of quiet. Although, it took me about a year to get used to the traffic on Ridge Rd, before I was able to get a good nights sleep. Sleep has always been an issue with me but, it got better with time. I'm just shocked at how or why the burglers, crooks, thieves and druggies think they can get away with all of this. Sooner or later it WILL come to an end. I know I'm beating a dead horse!!

Actually a Paulding County resident, that was involved in a Drug deal gone bad, in Villa Rica, was from Dallas. We should be running out of criminals pretty soon, you think?? It seems like Paulding County or people "from" Paulding, are in the news more and more, these days. My link

I know of a family, that has 5 people in the household and only gets a little over $1,500 a month. They are told they DON'T qualify for ANY government benefits because the husband gets his government disability check. Mind you, the Husband is a Wounded and Disabled, Veteran. They should be the first to get assistance!!! This just burns my cookie, to no end!

That is 2 questions and you can only answer to one??????? So, I didn't answer to either, on the poll. NO, I will NOT buy gas, if the gas tanks are being filled. YES, I will go to another station. I typically buy gas at Kroger, Quik Trip, Racetrac, Sam's, Costco and Hess (the truck stop) at Liberty Rd. Unless we are traveling and we try to stick to the listed gas stations. When the tanks are being filled up, it stirs up the crap in the bottom of the tanks. That's where all of the trash is, and why I will not fill up if the tanks are being filled.
