  1. 100 calorie snacks????? Everyone is packaging their products in a 100 calorie size package. Whether it's good for you or not. Even Coca-Cola!!!
  2. Have you tried to apply for the Heat Assistance Program????
  3. Smoked chicken and corn (yep, the chicken that I just bought at Kroger a little while ago) It sure was mmmmm mmmm good!!!!! Now, I'll be hungry afterwhile since, we had an early supper.
  4. Kroger has the 10 lb bags of chicken leg quarters for $2.99, yep basically 0.29 per lb. Better hurry and get you some.
  5. Awww, ain't that a shame??????????????????
  6. We have a heat pump and we have never had a power bill over $250, either way, summer or winter. Last month our power bill was $108 and this month it was $225. Keep in mind our GreyStone Security ($16.95 per mo) is included with those amounts. The heat strips have never came on, in the 8 yrs we have been here. Not even, when it got into the teens and twenties.
  7. If you really think these people hacked into your account, WHY would you put that very link, on pcom???? So they can hack into someone elses account???? Just curious?????????
  8. Ahhhh haaaaa, the good old boy system?????

    Great News

    THAT'S GREAT !!!!!!!
  10. I could just about, point out at least 1 thread a day, where someone puts a "NAME" in a Topic Title. Why do people continue to do this???? It's a lot of the old timers that do it, from what I see, anyway.
  11. It sure was good!!!!! The Bean and Ham soup, was good, too. The bread was just the right amount, for the bowl of soup. What other kinds of soup do you serve?
  12. At first, when the Publix Shopping Center was in the works, CFA was in the plans, if memory serves me right. McDonalds was, also. For some reason they both got scrapped, THANK GOD, we are now, not getting a McDonalds!!!!!!!!!!! eta: this is in refetrence to the New Georgia Publix shopping center
  13. I've never sene a CFA, not do well!!! Also, the Zaxby's near Sam's, is only like a mile from CFA on Hwy 5, maybe 1.5 miles at the most????
  14. Yall are making me hungry!!! I'm going to fix me some Brown Sugar Brownies(as my daughter calls it)............ I'd really like to see some some type of donut/long john or the likes with some "real" Bavarian cream, most people just use vanilla pudding in place of the real stuff and I don't like that.
  15. We would NEVER list our house on Craigs list. But, that's just us. That place is not for us!!! I don't even look at the site, after all the horror stories, I've heard fron CL, nope...........I look elsewhere.
  16. I'd choose CFA over Zaxby's any day!!!!! Hubby... not so sure, he loves Zaxby's. CFA's have the "more mature" employees and I like that. You don't see kids (and i rarely use the word...kids) with their pants hanging down below their waist or flirting with other employees, or talking junk and it's overall a better and more a pleasant place to eat, more of a Family friendly place, than the other fast food places. The stores are ALWAYS clean, well stocked with the essentials.....ketchup, napkins, straws and so on, they always have fresh flowers on the tables and the best thing.....they are closed
  17. I know, I just looked over at the store the other day as we left HH, I guess I was kind of hoping to see the curtains still hanging up and the signs on the windows. I have NOT balanced the checkbooks in about 4 or 5 yrs, sooo, it being the beginning of the new year (kinda sorta) I'll try it again. I can do it. It's just very time consuming, tedious and mind boggling sometimes. We have 3 and it's going to be a challenge but, I've got to do it.
  18. Just curious if anyone is going or has been already??
  19. I am in the market for a new Quicken type software and would like to know if there are any other software programs out there that are like Quicken? What kind do you use, where woulkd I get it and how much would it cost me? I went to the Quicken web site and I saw this program called ....Mint, it's Quicken but, the onlibne version is called Mint and it's free. I signed up and it did NOT recognize SunTrust, it did have Sun Trust anyway, my envelopes do NOT have a space between Sun and Trust. Then it proceeded to ask me for the url and my screen name AND my password! I don't think so...
  20. This is taking place tomorrow morning, tell anyone and everyone, that you might know, who could benefit from this. Please call to see what the requirements are, other than "proof of residency."
