  1. My best friend and her husband are in town this weekend and we want to do something outside since it is so nice! Does anybody have any ideas?

    Red top mountain

  2. Anyone here take tinting off of cars? Or know of someone that does? My so bought and old police car and was told that he could get a ticket if he didn't get it off. But, he has to have someone that knows what they are doing, because he still wants to use the rear defrosters.

Also, how much will it cost?

  3. If I'm pregnant by old friends who haven't seen me in a while. My god people. I weigh 130 and have a 10 month old, 3 year old and 6 year old so yes I still have some of the baby weight but dang......it really makes me feel like crap and very unpretty. :cray: It's really hard to lose all the weight after a c section. If you know me or have seen my myspace on the current photos of me (not the bikini shots before my c section) do I look pregnant?

    PLEASE be honest.

If I weighed 130 I wouldn't care if they asked me if I was pregnant or not - I would be SOOOOOOO Happy to weigh that little!

  4. I was just thinking that this might be helpful.

I was a member on pcom for about 2 years or longer before I ever knew that if you clicked on the little orangish red box next to the topic that it will take you to the last topic you read previously in that thread. It looks like ->post-5308-1232229566.gif

What other helpful tips can you give about pcom that others might not know?

Great tip! No I didn't know that - it is a pretty useful tool. Thanks!

  5. I dont have a closet big enough. My are in 30 gallon containers in the basement

I donated mine to the police department - they use them to give to the children when they go out to calls.

  6. I picked up a lot of things for church-daycare and sunday school and they have some permanent marker on them. I thought I could fix them. Most of the things are nice but the books have permanent marker and it was supposed to have dry erase. HOW CAN I GET IT OUT?

If you have a dry erase marker, just draw over it with that and it should come off. Unless the books are paper. Then I don't know how to get it off. Good luck!

  7. So, for Xmas day we bought a ham from Kroger, one of those spiral pre-cooked ones. Well I went to carve it and ate a slice. This thing was NASTY. Tasted more like bacon then ham and was super salty. It says that you can take it back if you are not satisfied but I don't want to be the crazy guy returning his Xmas ham.....Would you take it back or just suck up the 20 bucks as a lesson learned? :pardon: The lesson being go with what you know is good...a REAL Honey Baked Ham.

    Yes - take it back!!

  8. The Paulding County Animal Control Shelter will be open daily now through Christmas Eve and adoption prices have been dropped in hopes of finding the many loving pets a "Home 4 the Holidays."

For 5 days only, adoption fees willl be reduced dramatically on ALL adoptions.

**Fully vetted Adult Cats - $40

**Fully vetted Adult Dogs - $50

***All Puppies, Kittens and unaltered Adult Pets reduced $20. (Price will still include Spay/Neuter Certificate and microchip.) *ALL Purebred pets will require spay/neuter before leaving the Shelter.)

If you've been considering a new pet, now is a great time!

The Shelter has remained FULL since March, and so many wonderful dogs and cats have been waiting for months for that special owner to come along. Many puppies and kittens have literally grown up at the Shelter this summer.

These prices are well below the cost of spay/neuter, shots and microchipping by Paulding Humane Society. By offering these lower prices, we're taking a big hit to our pocketbook, but if it helps even one precious pet to not spend their holiday in a cage, it will be worth it.

The Shelter is located at 779 Industrial Blvd. North, Dallas. Normal adoption hours are noon to five Saturday through Tuesday. As has become Tradition, the Shelter staff and volunteers will keep the facility OPEN ON CHRISTMAS EVE until at least 4 p.m. (or until visitors stop coming.)

Visitors with treats and loving pets are also very welcome!

    "Harley" #7733B

Harley came into the Shelter as a tiny puppy with her siblings. All of the others were adopted. She's now been at the Shelter for several months. She's a very sweet Spaniel Mix, calm, yet playful when appropriate. Spayed, current on all shots and microchipped. $50 adoption fee.

    Any recent pictures??

  9. Okay. We just made our Gingerbread House and we wanted to more Christmas crafts but I am not creative and cannot think things up like that and I tried to search online for some ideas but have had no luck. I just want something fun, easy and obviously were I don't have to go out and spend lots of money.... maybe stuff around the house I can use.

My kids are 3 (boy) and 7 (girl) and they loved the gingerbread house so... does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

google Christmas Crafts for Kids and you will find a bunch!! Enjoy!
