  1. Yup. That's why she says she climbs in there. lol. She curls up in it like it's a hammock. She has three!
  2. ...guess where her 'new' favorite hide-out is (again)? Back in the dryer. She just turned five and is the size of a 7 year old...you'd think this would get uncomfortable after awhile. Nope, its been over a year and she's back to climbing into the dryer to read and 'get some peace'. ~shakeshead~
  3. I got it. I giggled - it's incredibly true. Especially the part about Natalie Portman. Perfect, indeed.
  4. I understand he was a student, but he wasn't on campus. He was walking on Spring Street in the middle of the night. Have you ever walked on Spring Street? Scary place, campus or no campus close by.
  5. Agreeing on that one, although my new year is looking good. :yahoo: I want: the ex to put the brakes, which have been in his trunk for months, on my car. Other than that, sleep/rest, time to myself in the studio, and one on one time with the kiddo would be fantastic.
  6. I woulda flipped. Politely as I could because my kid was there, but I definitely would have flipped. ~snickers~
  7. HEY!!!!! Don't dog Olivia Wilde. She's #1 on my list every day. I concur on both points.
  8. That's awesome! Now I'm wondering if we worked together, because we had a pee incident, too. And several felony charged teens. I worked in the Juniors department during and just after high school, so I had the pleasure of handling/busting girls my age. Twice, they were girls I had classes with. Ridiculous.
  9. Check your facebook IM's, I'm sendin' you something
  10. I used to work at Kohl's. I never in my life would steal from there - I used to work with the security there and caught a ton of shoplifters. They're onto just about every trick in the book and people you can't even see are watching you when you least expect it. I know of other retail places that have teeny tiny little cameras actually hidden in the racks and on the shelves, away from the cameras that you can visibly see hanging. Folks are watching those, too. Not even worth it.
  11. Oh, I so just choked on tea. That makes for an even more awesome mental picture. I'm kinda ticked she burst the waterbed though. Does this mean you're going to get rid of the early 90's mirrors that went with the early 90's waterbed?
  12. I didn't mean to laugh, but that was a hilarious mental picture. I'm sorry the puppy exploded your mattress.
  13. **waves** By the way, I'm deathly afraid of commercial flying.
  14. C. Mark is my favorite Commerce Member ever...he's professional, funny, entertaining, and does his job well. Slumber Parties by Kelly is another favorite - I went to her for many a relationship 'sparks' before I became a recruit. In Granny's Footsteps is also a favorite - her soaps are *amazing*. I mean amazing.
  15. Yes!!!! Hilarious - there was a point in the parade where the driver braked as we were dancing and I was caught off balance. Jlh10101 caught me before I went over the front of the float. I stopped in my tracks and couldn't stop laughing...it scared the death out of me. You caught it on camera. How might I go about getting copies of these?
  16. While it does throw me off, I like to think people are human. I know my ex is one of the worst spellers on the face of the planet, but the guy can do wonders as a mechanic. Spelling and car maintenance have very little to do with each other. On the same token, JLH10101 is a horrible speller, but I'd hire him in a heartbeat to do my floors or install cabinets. Proper grammar doesn't matter in that line of work. Now, if I were looking for a tutor...obviously, I would move on to the next person.
  17. Oh, the things I would do for a deer sausage biscuit. ~drools~ I haven't had one since I was 14 - my grandfather used to make them for me.
  18. Mine was pretty specific: "a blue dress, a purple dress, a sleeping beauty doll, a Dora with the pony, and a sword." I found a blue formal dress, probably from a flower girl, at the Goodwill for $4 - still looking for a purple one. The sleeping beauty doll was something she saw at Family Dollar and the Dora with the Pony was something she saw at Big Lots. The other half picked both of those up for less than $15. The sword is a foam sword she saw in Wal-Mart...she battled with the other half and then had me 'text smessage' Santa to tell him that she wants one. We're still in debate. Her st
  19. I was about to say....I know for a fact that our girls were literally running back and forth from the candy bin to the kids handing out candy to each kid individually. Now, I know I saw SouthernScarlett dump candy into atleast one kids lap....but she still didn't throw it and the kid and parents had a great laugh. They were literally sweating by the time the parade was over because they refused to just 'throw' the candy. Our candy passer-outers were awesome! My vote is for Christmas in July.
