Any Pictures or info about the old Hiram High?
rednekkhikkchikk replied to Redmage777's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Yeah, I think PCHS was finished the year before I started school so no high schoolers there by 1970 but little else was changed as far as the school itself... -
Yeah my sister likely has a fairly large one hanging around her place. I hear them carrying on fairly regularly (not surprising, considering where I live) and a single one that howls from a distance away for a little bit almost every night as well...

Well I haven't really researched enough to say about the Illuminati, (?) but I don't believe for a minute that the buffoons holding office in DC make the decisions - more like the wealthiest of the wealthy on a global level along with the handful of huge corporations slowly buying monopolies on various industries. Why do so few people find that disturbing? Conspiracies aren't necessary to distract; pitting groups of people with common interests against each other serves that purpose sufficiently. -
This is not a situation that is covered by insurance...

Stealing or vandalizing yard signs is theft and is un-American!
rednekkhikkchikk replied to jhb045's topic in RECENT TOPICS
So the Republican stance on theft (as well as just about any other criminal activity it seems) is it's ok as long as the victim is a Democrat (or at least not a Republican). What a bunch of lame-assed hypocrites. Yeah, I can see how Republicans will be the SALVATION of America. At least now they have nobody to blame but themselves. -

I attended Hiram Elementary from 1970 to 1976. There was a 'new' wing for the first grade (on the back next to the 'old' gym - which was new at that time and an even older gym still stood over next to the old high school which by then was where 2nd thru 4th graders had class, and another 'new/er section' where grades 5-6 and library were located. It was a great school. If you have FB there is a page (I think you have to request to be a member) called I went to Hiram Elementary in Hiram GA -

Ok I'll bite - the reason nobody thinks #6 is possible is the very reason it IS possible and of all those listed it is the one I think is the most likely. Otherwise, we are electing complete morons into office. What other explanation could there be? ***I'm of the opinion that aliens would do a better job of running things than we've seen so far...but I am amazed by the number of people more willing to believe in aliens than that a cabal of some kind really runs the show. -
Does the north end of the county need a city?
rednekkhikkchikk replied to Shallow Hal's topic in RECENT TOPICS
IF this happens to be about fire protection ratings in areas that are still unprotected (and I don't know that it is, just a guess) being inside city limits might not help in that regard. The county provides fire protection for the cities, so the nearest fire station to your home/business won't change unless/until the county adds a fire station of some kind within the required distance of your location, hence your fire class will not change unless/until that happens, either. I know this because I live less than a half mile from the Braswell 'city hall', more than 7 miles from any fire stat -
Yeah I broke my wrist (in two places) and they totally missed it on the first x rays...hope it heals quickly. And completely.

Husband of Delaware State Senator -Stealing Campaign Signs
rednekkhikkchikk replied to Mustluvdogs's topic in RECENT TOPICS
How the heck did you get that particular inference from his post? I'm pretty sure he is saying that the story made the news because there is video that clearly shows an identifiable person who is the spouse of a high profile personality doing the stealing. How he operates the site doesn't dictate which candidate he supports as an individual or a business - why bother with any signs at all in that case? (The law of physics would prevent multiple signs from occupying the exact same space, since we are being overly critical and nit-picky) -

Pecans are coming to a library near you!
rednekkhikkchikk replied to librarygirl's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Yeah I'll be having some of those. They are the best pecans! I get the plain halves to make hot & spicy ones for my daddy & step-dad for Christmas. Oh yeah, and dark chocolate covered ones, haven't had 'em before but I will this year. They do go fast, I think the Dallas branch was completely out of the plain halves by Christmas last year or shortly after. -

Addiction can't be corrected via legislation - it's a problem better dealt with by the medical community. First of all by stopping the scripts for known addicts, and secondly thru a combination of counseling, rehab and an addict's desire to be well. -

Yep. Should help as much as outlawing Sudafed to fix the meth problem did...of course the elected officials passing these laws can afford to go to the doctor anytime they need their fix. Ugh. It was actually decongestants (the effective ones) but your heart is in the right place, anyway. lol The 'ugh' was intended for my initial comment, not yours... -
This is a gross overstatement of the issue. Nobody has said religion cannot be discussed or even practiced by the individual. The problem comes when officials lead or compel prayer or install the tenets of one above others. I didn't see any mention of whether other religions were part of the overall lesson and had been discussed already or planned for a future date. Do you know that it was strictly limited to a lesson about Islam? I could also understand if it was included in a lesson about a part of the world that is primarily Islamic. So is the problem that they felt Islam w

You'd think you were the original and only business owner from some of your posts. And just so you know, some of us don't keep our noses in any sites, left OR right...that said, what makes you think the quality of propaganda you absorb is better or more correct than any other? And you do? You basically come on here & tell everybody who doesn't agree with you how stupid and illiterate or left-wing they are - not my idea of open-minded at all. Sure, Deal can sell his business to whomever he pleases but it reflects badly that he would sell it to someone who owes that much in taxe
