I agree. Way over rated. When the Falcons started loosing he would have an "injury". He served his time. Let me try and play. He might not be up to it mentally. Jesus said we should forgive................but he didn't say anything about forgetting. Worst thing that could happen is when he does come on the field to play the fans might start barking. Who let the dogs out. Whoop, whoop!

You are right about the confrontation being a terrorist threat. According to the homeland security act the county attorney should have the city manager arrested for making such a threat. Richard Belcher should demand the arrest. The city manager threatened a news reporter. He was the mayor before his son took over. Kind of like dumb and dumber to me. Are the part time police the city managers other son or relative?

Oyster place on Hwy 41 in acworth...................
Dallas Bigfoot replied to gtfamily's topic in RECENT TOPICS
You have to remember they built the new building. Before it was an old waffle like place with make-shift chairs and booths. Their prices are much higher (too high) but fried shrimp are good. We just get order of fried shrimp and hush puppies and not with fries, etc. Much cheaper. Their oysters on half shell are also good. -
On the notary is that a state law? Why wouldn't sending a email count as "in writing"? The reason I ask is our subdivision ACC yo-yo sent me a certified letter on a minor infraction (there are at least 20 other homes with same condition) and it said I had to reply "in writing" that it had been corrected. You have to understand that the ACC guy is PO at me because when I sent a form in to make a change it took him 45 days to give me an answer that I could make the change whereas a neighbor who is a friend of his got verbal permission right off the bat. I have threatened to file a suit aga

Can a one spouse sign a document as notary for the other spouse in the state of Georgia? Is sending an email considered notifying someone in writing.

But look at our justice system as it is today. Some people get off on just probation and some don't. Some pay fines or no jail time and others fet off free. Depends on your lawyer and the judge you get and in some cases their relationships. Look at all the rich and super sports stars and also political figures. They seem to do well in court. It's time to change the pledge of allegiance to read "...........with liberty and just for the rich and politically influenced." Think about it.

You think two deputies are too much? Late yesterday at the Coastal gas station next to Dallas Tire they had pulled over a pickup truck. They had one guy being searched. There were two Dallas police cars, two PC deputy cars and one PC detective. Why does it take 5 cars/officers to check out a lone driver? Don't get me wrong because the deputies do a great job and are always friendly and helpful as far as I have had experiences with them which was only once. I forgot to put the new decal on my wife's car. I pleaded stupid/forgot and the deputy said go put in and next time don't forget. He c

Try hot water with a mild detergent and use a wire brush. It might be easier to buy a new brush. You clean brushes that are used with latex in water. Alklyd paint you use paint thinner.

Beer is good for you. It's the poor man's champagne. Someone asked me about me liking beer. I said I liked a cold beer after cutting the grass on a hot day. Sometimes I cut my twice just to drink a cold beer. I told my neighbor I didn't drink beer anymore.................don't drink it any less either. He asked me if I knew when to stop. I said yes when it's all gone. What's better than a cold beer? Two beers. What time is it? It's five o'clock somewhere. Did you know in Alabama driving with an open container is not a moving violation? It's a $25 fine. Where else but A

You can always tell when someone is on the cell phone. They slow down when talking and then speed back up when listening. I saw two people (driver and passenger) on the cell phone. At a stop light I asked if they were talking to each other. They looked offended. I told them why don't you pull off because you are holding up traffic (about 35 mph on 120). Then I said either that are get the H off the phone when driving. (kidding about get H off phone) I am a defensive driver because there are too many crazies out there. Always give other drivers right of way. You don't know who has had a ba

Thanks for the info. Originally from S.C. (you know the place where the Governor screws around on his wife and brags about it and at the same time apologizes). We are going back to CS and spend a day there. Made the mistake of going by the antique/junk shops and wife insist we go back so she can "just look". Help!

We went through Cave Springs yesterday on the way to Weis Lake and they looked like they were having some kind of 4th celebration going on. People were backed up at the creek and had picnic set ups. Were thy having a parade that day? Quaint looking community. Where do the people go shopping? Where do they work? It looks like it is a prosperous place with little shops. Didn't stop but what do you know about the place?

I agree. Let the dead rest. He was never convicted. He was a talented individual. Let it go. Pray for his soul and for his children and family. If he was a molester he will be judged. Hate the sin, love the sinner. To those slamming him what will people say about you when you pass away? Kind, warm, loving or mean, spiteful, hurtful. Focus on something positive for a change.

In spite of all the problems MJ had you have to hand it to him that he was a VERY talented. If you get a chance to watch his video "Thriller" you will see what I mean. May God have mercy on his soul and prayers go out to his children and family. There will be mourning all over the world. He was loved and admired by many people in many nations. Amen

When did the chicken restaurant change it's name?
Dallas Bigfoot replied to dawneykids's topic in RECENT TOPICS
When they first opened the food was good and prices were reasonable. Now they don't give you as much and the prices are higher. -
And fire the city attorney. Need to bring Dallas into the new era and loose their antiquated ideas. That is why all the restaurants that serve alcohol are in Hiram. It's 2009 not 1909. Dallas government get with the program.

You could just keep a shot gun by the back door (unloaded) and when you see the trespassers place the shell (modified by removing lead shot and add rock salt) and fire away. Will sting but not kill (unless point blank). Then yell next shot will be real load. That should deter them. If not buy a stun gun and when close enough shoot. As to shooting gun in the air why not fire it into the ground...............but be careful not to hit a water or gas line.

An ice cold beer is good after cutting the grass in the heat but it doesn't quince your thirst. Water is good but doesn't give any energy. A glass of sweet tea in ice will not only quince your thirst but the sugar (not artificial sweetener) will give you energy. The there's a Moscow Mule: shot of vodka ginger beer (ginger ale) ice put in a tin cup and drink up. Now that's a cool drink

Thunder storm likely this evening
Dallas Bigfoot replied to THHoneybear's topic in Paulding County NEWS
That's not thunder you here. It's the throngs of the Obamanites coming to take away everything you own then tax the hell out of everything you buy. Don't you just love him. Why I think I saw him walk on water in France where he apologized for America. Can you believe he apologized when OUR soldiers gave their lives to free Europe. What an ASS! If you click your heels three times while standing in your yard during a thunder storm and say "I love Obama" while doing it, the good fairy will come down and give you a small stimulus. A blot of lightning for standing outside during a storm exac -
I remember others saying this that maybe some in Dallas proper don't want progress and would rather just roll up the streets at dark. An attitude like that brings wagons and dirt roads. One thing that isn't helping Dallas is how our BOC leased the old courthouse to the college. They should have left it and rented out offices to professionals and organizations like the historical society and such. They could have used the court rooms for civic organizations to meet. How can we turn that around for the citizens of Paulding County? I guess our past chairman and other BOC's know better than u

I was wondering the same thing.. Two great minds thinking alike.

Maybe, just maybe the hours of 10 to 2 are set so they can cater to the upcoming college crowd. When the dispute over Banditos was going on I made a comment about someone wanting the building for that purpose. Has anyone asked who are the partners in the business? Not trying to be negative but...................... I plan on going to try out their food. It would be nice if they would open on Friday evening from 5 to 10 and on Saturdays from 10 AM to 3 PM and/or 5 to 10. They could try it and see if it works. Especially during the summer and on Saturday car jam night.
