  1. You misunderstood me. I believe they could have done it, I just don't understand it. Court Reporters make a pretty decent amount of money. It just shocks me. I never said it was okay to steal. It is horrible. You totally took it the wrong way. I am just proud of the hard work my mother did her whole life. NEVER SAID IT WAS OKAY TO STEAL. I was just stating that court reporting is a very hard job. Never said that gives you a right to steal. GEEZ.
  2. My parents have had a condo at PCB since the 80's. We never drank the water.
  3. My mom was a court reporter and worked very hard. She was very honest. I cannot believe these women did this. Believe me when I say that Court Reporting is a very hard job. When she started she had to use a manual typewriter with duplicate paper. She would stay up all night typing.
  4. I loved the Radio Shack one:) Too funny!
  5. We went last week and it was beautiful. Went to clingmans dome, the chimneys and roaring fork. It was a wonderful time:)
  6. My daughter is getting married next June and I am picking these things up at yard sales. Great prices:)
  7. Yep, they need to start soon. I don't understand passing on a hill in a no pass zone. They need to get up here!
  8. I agree, North better get ready! But excited for the game to be at home!
  9. I did hear too they are sold out at High school. Are the North fans suppose to where white? My son said it was a white out.
  10. I talked with the school and all are 7 today at lunch.
  11. My son goes to North Paulding and he said they will have tickets on sale for tomorrow night's game at lunch. Does anyone know if that is just for the students or can they buy adult tickets as well?
  12. I agree. Visit often, and at different times. The main reason for us picking Austell was because the rehab part is awesome. It is very new and updated. There is always therapy going on and I like that for my Mother's case.
  13. We just had to put my Mom in one. I don't think ANY of them impressed me. I think the closer you can get, is better. After looking at about 5 (We had a list that she was accepted at) Austell Unicare was the one we picked. We wanted Paulding just because it is 15 minutes from all of the family. Paulding is old, but I liked the fact we could drop by anytime and I have never heard anything bad. I have to say, we have not had many problems so far. My mother is there for Rehab from a cerebral hemmorage. We are hoping for a short term stay, but there is no way of knowing the outcome. This proc
  14. I went to many to find the best fit for us. Orthozone was my choice. I was hoping I made the right decision and I did. They have been soooo good to my son and even calls to check on him. I'm very happy!
  15. All I can say, is when I sit in car rider line for my Middle school child...You should see the cars these teenagers have.....I just shake my head. I agree with accidents can happen with any type of car, but if you are not driving fast, the impact is less. Parents need to parent instead of giving their kid everything they want!!!!!!
  16. I understand where you are coming from, but my child has had another student constantly bother him all year. I'm the type parent that tries to let my child handle it. They need to learn how to handle such people. But after so many times of being messed with, my son stood up to him and the other child ran an told. So I understand about this situation. There are some parents that try to teach their kids to work things out themselves, but sometimes enough is enough. And I think he was a 9th grader not a 9 year old. Big difference.
  17. As a sub in High School, I see this everytime I sub. This week it was a Hat. The student that took the hat would not give it back, so I had to get involved. I always give the student a chance to give it back and then I step in if he/she doesn't. It's always, purses, phones, hats, and bookbags. I have had a student empty out an entire bookbag one time. It seems to always be 9th and 10th graders. This drives me crazy! I know teachers cannot see everything, but ususally you can see when something like this happens because the student is standing and saying, "give it back!"
  18. All I drink is water. I have not had a soda in 7 years. I had withdrawels for about 2 weeks and that was it.
  19. Gold's Gym in Cartersville is the best! They offer soooo much. I have been there 3 years with not one problem.
  20. I believe in waiting as well and going on how mature they are instead of age. I do however believe in preparing them to be able to drive before they go to college and with a year of experience. The hardest thing I have ever done is to let 2 of my children drive off by themselves. Everytime they leave, I just get sick. My oldest is 22 and it never gets easy.
