Thank you for your comment, but honestly we have a great time with this... going thru chemo/rad is such a departure from reality, it really helps to hang out with others trekking down the same road (plus getting an incredible makeup bag). On another note - this program is "nationwide". So if you know of someone who might benefit from it, and they live in another state - tell them to call 1-800-395-5665 to register for a program near them. Or if someone is visiting you, and here during our session they are welcome to visit us here... I'll be at the store today until 3, if there are any lat

Just a note - our next Look Good, Feel Better "mini spa" program takes place next Monday. This is a 2 hour program sponsored by the American Cancer Society for women dealing with the physical effects of chemo and radiation. We host it at the Suntrust Bank on 120 and Hwy 6 from 12-2. The program is free, but we need to know the attendance so we can provide enough free make-up bags. The program is run by a cosmetologist, and runs the gamut of skincare to headgear to wigs. We have a lot of laughs as well... If you or someone you know would like to come, please call our store tomorrow - 770-222-66

Congratulations to you both - hard work does pay off... enjoy your new life in England! (when you get there...)

Thanks very much Mrs G - my hat is off to you because you're really trying to adjust. Some folks just give it up, and it is a serious health issue. I am on cpap myself, an auto cpap. I quit breathing only during my REM phase of sleep, so the auto adjusts to my sleeping pattern. There are many reasons for sleep apnea - my dtr. thinks I inherited a smaller than usual windpipe from my father... I've had breathing issues my entire life, no matter my weight. One of our companies is doing a project right now with the NFL, due to the size of the players necks... and we've had some patients in the tru

Girl, I love Mexican too but tied up tomorrow - whatcha doing Friday? -
Yes to both comments... Look Good, Feel Better is a program thru the American Cancer Society. We're volunteers and host it for Paulding County. The ladies receive makeup bags with approx. $250 worth of great cosmetics - Estee Lauder, MAC, Bobbi Brown, etc. The session is run by a cosmetologist, and we end it with a session on turbans and wigs. It's completely free, and offered to those dealing with chemo and radiation. I'll post another thread on this and the upcoming dates for July.

Looking forward to seeing you Southern Scarlett! On another note... if your friend is going thru chemo or radiation, please tell her about our Look Good, Feel Better program. It's a 2-hour mini spa/makeup session focused on handling the effects of treatment. Our next program is Monday, July 15th. Just give us a call for details - I'll post more about it later!

We have a good assortment of these in our store - they are popular. We usually get them in each week. They're $13.95. We also give you a little lesson in the various ways they can be tied - add another scarve, jewelry to dress them up. We also have turbans, night caps, in addition to our wigs. Give us a call or stop by - 770-222-6678.

While I know bathroom topics encourage humor, there are medical reasons for such a device - we carry them. Not only large folks, but anyone who can't rotate their spine have a need for this - in addition to those who suffer from spinal cord injuries.

Please stop by if you can - there will be a crowd, but it's great to watch!

And the folks at Paulding Lanes are very gracious hosts... applause to them. Also, if you haven't stopped by - these bowlers are very friendly, and enjoy conversation (when they're not knocking down pins...)

We've been busy with bra fittings here... most women wear the wrong size. I never really understood the mechanics until I went thru certification. But basically there are no standards in the industry, so manufacturers make bras differently. Couple that with a lack of education about the fit, and you end up with with an uncomfortable garment that you wear every day. So we measure, and fit, and alter if necessary to get the right fit. We do take appointments here. If you walk in and the fitting room is open, we'll be happy to accommodate you. I did just bring in some new styles, and they are gor

Hey girl, Thank you and I'm glad you popped in when you did... we had a Look Good, Feel Better program today (it was awesome...) so I'm glad I was in the store. I'm looking very forward to your walker bags AND for Zoo followers... Zoo has been crocheting for us. I just haven't posted pix yet. She has made slippers, Baby Bags with handmade bib, hat, scratch mittens, socks, booties and 2 bottle warmers. Also Southern Scarlett purchased a cellphone cover with the pink ribbon on it - great colors, and water bottle cozies with the pink ribbon. Oh, and Zoo crocheted a basket with little washcloths f

Aww, I don't have Sweet Pea - but IGF handmade three scents for us... Pink Moonbeams, Herbal Embrace and now Soothing Seas. Come see me girl, and have a sniff - I have testers of the lotions too. I completely spaced... I'll get on that Monday. We've been really busy, and I'm grateful. I do have lots of new items in the store though. Come see me!!!!!

I don't have the pictures yet, but IGF has designed another exclusive scent for PAK in Pink and I opened the box a couple of hours ago. I had a customer, and she scooped the soap and a large lotion up before I even had a chance to pull them out. The new scent is "Soothing Seas", and it's a clean, "beachy scent" - fabulous!! I'll post pictures later... Thank You IGF!!!
