This is just ridiculous. First of all, most native Americans are not offended what so ever by the team name. They could care less. I think I heard somewhere that it's less than 10% that even have an issue with it. Second of all, the majority of people that do have an issue with the team name and are pushing for a change don't even have any recent Native American ancestry to begin with. I just don't understand why so many are now insisting that the team name is derogatory in any way.

I could something such as anxiety/panic attacks or some kind of gastrointestinal issue, such as heartburn or acid reflux. Either one of these can have symptoms mimicking a heart attack. I haven't heard any new information recently on Chris. I'll have to talk to my brother. I have seen him posting on Facebook again, being his funny goofy self. I can tell from recent pictures I've seen of him that he is thinner. I know he wishes he could eat food but the doctors have him on a strict diet so he can't really eat much. When I get more info I will let you know. My dad has pretty much made a full recovery. We were very concerned after his surgery with the complications he had with his lungs. With his surgery he was supposed to be out of the hospital in 3-4 days. He end

How else would a cop apprehend the thieves? Run after them telling them they better stop or he'll.....just keep running after them? If there were two unarmed innocent people not committing a crime I would call it excessive force. But since these are thieves committing a crime I have no problem with a guy waving a gun at them.

Not an exaggeration at all. Some African Greys (a large parrot) have the ability to snap a broomstick in half with their beaks like it was a tooth pick. Parrots can do some pretty mean damage. I have small scars from the cockatoo I used to have.

I would hate for a friend or family member to get on here and read some of this nonsense (Which is entirely possible since this is a local incident). This did not directly effect me or anyone close to me. I may not 'care' in the sense of some people's definition. But I will still pass on my deepest condolences. Because I am not naive and realize that something like this could always happen to a loved one. Same here. Ours went up approx. 85%, almost doubled. A damn joke indeed!!!! I live in the city limits of Dallas as well. If they think its worth that much I'd be glad to accept their check for it. Definitely appealing. ETA - Actually it's only 75%, I did the math wrong. Still it's a ridiculous increase!
