Weatherboy. this will be a Theatrical release ... and the producer actually points to it being an 'important' movie. He suggests later this year is when it will be released. They do have a good cast and given the quality of the projects under the belts of the key folks, the movie could well be a 'contender.' Now Weatherboy, the big question is the weather going to make it hard or make it easy. I see where folks are talking about snow showers ... but the forecast I saw suggests that is more a Saturday night thing with only a 20 percent chance of rain on Sunday. Given we're

Nanny, Weather will be a factor in that it is expected to be in the low to mid 40's that morning. That is really good news because an overcoat is appropriate part of the 'costume.' The main extras ... closest to the camera ... are dressed in the authentic period attire. Those who aren't good for the closer shots will be pushed back and away from the camera ... but those are the ones that are mainly being sought in this call. What they're looking for in this call are folks for the deep background ... the big sweeping shots where detail is not as important ... but where the impress

A notice that until they get it moved, those who travel Macland Road east may want to avoid it this morning. Traffic is now slowed from a semi that is belly up in the ditch at Macland Road and Bullard Road in Cobb according to a phone call form my wife. Certainly it will be at least 10 a.m ... maybe 11 a.m. before the truck can be pulled from the deep ditch at that intersection. You might want to try an alternative if you're going east this morning. Don't figure there are any serious injuries ... and I suspect the truck slid from the road and overturned in an effort to miss

Is anyone else seeing issues getting out on the Net? It is strange, I can't get google or the nytimes but I can get PCOM... anyone else having issues with the greater net. (it may be strange but recognize that the connection to pcom, whose main servers are in Atlanta, may be easier if there is big net outage in the NE. but Google should be west and mirrored. hummm? pubby

Hi folks: There was a topic posted by a member who is a member of the site and works for intuit that was talking about a contest for small business grants and about the community that intuit is creating. Here was the topic: http://www.paulding.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=196649 I did enter it and obviously encouraged others to enter the contest at the time. One trick is that folks have to vote for folks and you have to register on the Intuit site to do so. The package they're offering for members includes a public profile. The benefit of doing this for your business

The New Hope Church Cemetary will get new United States flags at 5 p.m. Thursday in a ceremony involving the Hiram High Jr. ROTC. The cemetery, home to soldiers from the Civil War and more recent wars, will have its existing flags struck and new flags flown in a full demonstration including the playing of taps. The ceremony is open to the public.

Lowrider: I personally would not buy a camcorder. Rather I would get one of the nice megazoom cameras that offers High Definition video capture. Technically, the big difference would be that with a camcorder, your recording length (punch the button and go away) will be at least an hour. The smaller cameras (like the ones I use at pcom) will record HD but the longest click and walk away time for the highest quality is 8 or 9 minutes. They are smaller, lighter, can take megapixel (8-10) pictures; they operate in low light, and not only can you carry them with your bu

Ktan: I feel sad for anyone caught up in the criminal justice system. It is a meatgrinder that all too often we as a public, ignore. That has allowed us to have the abominations of 'mandatory minimum' sentencing and two strikes you're out. Rather than simply hide the fact that here is a person - a personality that a lot of folks actually like in part because of her outrageous-ness. And frankly, the scene was she was there and, as I was on the way to the office, Laurie called and said Miss Jesse was on the square. I thought I'd video tape her. We're obviously acquain -

Ditto: and Bird Mom ... if you need some help getting the video on the net, let me know. I do want to ask if the Dallas PD have a copy. If they already know who the perp is, they would typically be reluctant to publish the video ... not always but in comparison with when they seek an identity, it is night and day. they want to protect their evidence from being compromised by it being public information even though it is the essence of public information. Anyway, even if you do get that kind of feedback from the law, know that it is your video for You to do what you wish w

In lieu of at least an indictment, that statement is at best premature. Because of that Feelip, I judge the use of the word crook as unfounded hyperbole better left behind with the other rhetoric of a political campaign ... or the actions of a grand jury. pubby

Matt: thought this might make some sense. From the film "O Brother, Where Art Thou" Pappy O'Daniel: It seems that Mr. Stokes has a grudge against the Soggy Bottom Boys, on account of their rough and rowdy past. [boos] Pappy O'Daniel: Seems, Mr. Stokes is the kind of fella who wants to cast the first stone. Well, I'm with you folks. I'm a forgiving, Christian sort of man. And I say, if their rambunctiousness, and misdemeanoring, is behind them... [turns away from the mike, towards Everett] Pappy O'Daniel: [no-nonsense] It is, ain't it, boys? Ulysses Everett Mc

A case in point for those who craft ... and the Consumer product safety commission and law. You are covered by the law. You can't make a baby 'cape' out of asbestos and sell it. You can't make it out of fabric soaked in gunpowder and alcohol and sell it. If you did and you were sued more than three times in two years, you'd have to report that. And you'd have to report that you made a dangerous product. In general, though, you'd are pretty much required to report what you do if you do something stupid. So, don't make something stupidly. don't pain a baby rattle wi
