DEMOCRAT Corinne Brown Convicted of Fraud and Tax Evasion

I think that any politician who uses a charity to pull in un-taxed money ought to serve some time in prison. If I recall, Roy Moore have similar problems once they sort through the income he got from his charity. pubby -
I'm sure the neo nazi's of America are devastated with the death of their prophet. Among the things Manson promoted as the leader of his cult was the certainty of a coming race war. pubby

Chevrolet has not had to replace a single battery for failure in a volt since it went into production seven years ago. The batteries that have failed were in early production (prior to 2013) Nissan Leafs. It is not so much a failure of the batteries, but rather they degraded primarily because Nissan chose not to include a battery cooler. This caused some problems in Arizona and SoCal with degradation ... some 2011 models, which fall outside the 6 year 100,000 mile warranty are on the market with degraded batteries that will fail to deliver the original 85 mile range of a non-degraded batt -

So was George Wallace. Heck, as long as George Wallace was alive all Alabama racists had to say they were Democrats. It wasn't until after he died that they could change parties. pubby -

And mojo; among those laws are those regarding statute of limitations and trial by jury. Take the case of Byron DeLay Beckwith. That man spent close to 30 years in freedom because a jury in Mississippi deadlocked two or three times refusing to convict him for the murder of Medgar Evers. I think you would concede, even in 1965, had he been tried before a jury in Washington DC or NYC, he'd been convicted based on the evidence that he committed the murder of the civil rights activist. Indeed, eventually a Jackson, Mississippi jury ended up convicting him in something like 1998 or so. -
In the bolded passages above you wrote: "More black males are killed by other black males each year than police officers." I should hope so! Really, we'd be in the midst of a revolution if the police were killing more folks than jilted lovers, drug dealers and loan sharks exacting retribution, drive-by wackos and gang bangers out to make a point. Notably, I think the current statistics in the Philippines would show the police and vigilantes actually are killing more civilians without trial or adjudication and that truly is not going to work out well for them. You then assault th

Actually, he's running toward the top of the 200,000 total cars that would be subsidized. However, if the GOP tax bill passes, the Republicans apparently prefer to subsidize the wealthy's preference for flying over driving. pubby -

It has nothing to do with him being a democrat. It has to do with 'pretend' ... putting on a show ... acting for the silly benefit of others. Doing that does not mean that it can't be hurtful or wrong. It obviously was in this case. Now I do know it is a stretch for those on the right to be able to tell the difference between pretend and real. I mean we see you folks struggling with the challenges of that and I do feel for you in your quest to return to reality. Maybe this will help. This is an absolutely true story; I was not the initiator but I participated and observed every s -
Tesla Roadster is back: 0-60 in 1.9 seconds, 620-mile range ABR ... eat your oil-beating heart out. ... especially the part about leaving the SRT Dodge Demon in the dust. While Tesla is only trying to be big in the transportation industry - the jury is still out on them until they start producing the Model 3 in quantity, the electric cars are coming of age. GM plans on launching 10 EV and PHEVs in the three years and Ford, M-B, VW as well as Kia and even Chrysler are making PHEVs and pure EV's available to meet growing demand. The new chevy Bolt runs great to 100 mph and has a 2

Well first, I didn't do that moderation ... I rarely do any moderation so all I can say is that it is against the rules to talk about moderation other than to say that on 'pcom' ... since the written word is nothing but symbolism ... all I can surmise from you post is that you are deep down an Anarchist. (Steven Bannon would love your white ass.) All I could remember is that he garbled it badly and hence, my effort. The quote, I assume ascribed to anonymous, is of course, "Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me." We've all been lied to so much by those on -

I don't know about you, SDN, but I think you actually have to touch for it to be a grope; don't you ... I mean I think of what he did as a closer to this: I mean that was expressing an opinion but it only symbolized an act of assault; it wasn't an actual assault. And while this woman was fired for her act of symbolism, one might expect that if Franken is forced from office for his 'symbolic' act, DJT ought to also have be forced from office for his real gropes of the nine or was it 11 women who came forward in the campaign. Why, BTW, didn't he sue? I mean there is a Senate Et -

That was a pose for a picture with no 'actual touching' SDN ... it was a photo prank and there is some dispute that the 'victim' wasn't in on the joke. Second, I wonder about all that unsourced breaking news. It sounds more like 'locker room talk' ... at, what was Denny Hastert's old high school? You know the one where he ended up being convicted for child molestation of his 'players' ... before he became a Republican representative and ultimately oversaw the 'fund' they're talking about as speaker. Remember, what we're dealing with here are folks with the veracity of Jared Kushner, -

The article also pointed out that the grievance mechanism was also used for several other workplace issues including failure to pay overtime, family leave act issues and non-sexual issues of surrounding workplace environment. That the article itself notes that only a small percentage of the cases this group involved sitting members of the congress. The total $215 million or whatever, was spent over that period to covers all direct congressional employment, including ancillary services, the Capital Police, groundskeepers, janitors, those folks who fix office machines, cook food for the ca -

Nope. See DVbP ... the right is right wing and because they're right wing and have the right position, they're right. While they'll say you're left or you're an idiot or you are liberal (which they consider a slander as nasty as being a pedophile or communist) they will never apologize (really) or admit they're wrong. Why? Because they're right and that is because they're right wing and the right wing is right, right! All they'll do is either double down and when that fails they'll duck and hide but they will literally never say they're wrong. Asserting they are always right has morph -

Roy Moore, if he is not elevated to the US Senate, will be fine. He won't face a prosecutors, a judge and a jury nor does he face having to serve time in a prison. What he faces in this is how his constituency, which is apt to judge more severely than just about any other constituency (they being highly religious), will react to public discussion of his behaviors. We know that most people who put themselves up for public office seek 'love' from their constituency. Temptations abound in politics where opportunities abound. The idea that mere mortals, who seek 'love' from the masses would -

I fully expect you folks to call for his resignation but I'll note that the lot of you voted for Trump knowing there were over a dozen women accusing him of much more ... and felt that didn't affect his ability to serve. The Republican idea is that it is okay for their men ... all strong Reb blooded 'mericans to be dogs but any Democrat must be a enuch's wholly devoid not only of manly desires but of a sense of humor. Vote to remove Roy Moore from the Senate when he gets there and impeach Trump because of the pee tape - it will or something similar will probably have gone viral by then -
