  1. It's time again for the Paulding Community Thanksgiving Meal. This year we are planning for 11,000 meals. 1,000 will be served to the residents of Paulding County. We will do the cooking! Meals are available for dine–in, pick up or delivery within the county. If you know someone who needs or wants a meal, have them ...come out to dinner on Wednesday, November 24th between 3:00 and 7:30 or have them contact us for delivery by Tuesday, November 24th. They can call the church (770-445-2509) or sign up on the web (www.dallasfirstumc.org). For the other 10,000, we will partner with Stop Hun
  2. Just saw your response. There seems to be some confusion. I am not the one who was mad. You were the one with their hand on the hip. The all UPPER case and the over use of the exclamation marks. It doesn't matter who you were "disagreeing" with, it was done with extraordinary bad form. Disagree can be done with a bit more grace and tact. That is why I said Good Night. My point was good Mama's and Daddy's can prevent many "accidents" (not all, just MANY). Have a good night.

I believe they learn it at home. I was hoping the JROTC would help correct some of that "learning". I was working on our church float before the parade started and heard someone cussing like a San Diego sailor. Looked up and some of the boys in the camo unis were going by. Checked and fortunately none of the children for our float were around to hear. Back to my comment about learning it at home. I was pulling our flo
  5. Thanksgiving meal will be served the day before Thanksgiving - Wednesday, November 25th at Dallas First United Methodist Church from 3:30 to 7:00. If you would like to volunteer and/or provide monetary donations, please contact the church office at 770 445 2509 or dfumc@bellsouth.net
  6. Jess had a great time at Dance Camp this week! She really enjoyed all the crafts and couldn't wait to show them to us when she got home.
