  1. Like a lot of folks in this state, I have a job. I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit. In order to get that paycheck, I am required to pass a random urine test with which I have no problem. What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to

people who don't have to pass a urine test.

Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them? Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping someone sitting on their behind doing drugs, while I work......Can you imagine how much money the state would save if people had to pass a urine test

to get a public assistance check?

Well, hotdamn, I agree with you! How rare is this?

  2. I got that sometimes and I never served on a ship..The best one for me was in bootcamp when my Company Commander yelled at another one..HEY HOW DO YOU LIKE MY BLONDE YEOMAN  He was a NUKE and only 25 years old ...We were his first company..He come from a SUB and hated the fact that he was over women

Oh I could tell you stories..I still deal with it on PCOM even

I even had it in the Army...The First SGT was from Vietman era same thing he hated the fact he had to deal with the females

I really hope things are better now for the Ladies that serve.....

<_< To that...Thanks for both you and DH's service...

DallasRed, you are awesome, and thanks for your service. I really have a problem when some say that women aren't real soldiers/military because they didn't serve in combat status. I find that completely BS as I lost a female friend (21 years old) while riding in the commander position in a HUMVEE to an IED in Iraq. If you get a medal for serving in a combat zone (OIF/OEF and many others), then you are indeed in combat status. And ff you ever signed your name on the dotted line, and passed the tests presented to you while in training, then you are indeed worthy of the respect that veterans deserve.

    Rock on all vets.

  3. O I C. Thanks. Isn't there usually a note that mentions that the post has been moved? I'm glad its still around.

Tow has made some great posts about varies law enforcement statutes which I respected, but credibility is lost with slanderous posts like that. I wonder if I'll get pulled over in Kennesaw again...

  4. And that's what a lot of major corporations will be doing if Obama is elected. Walking their operations to a less socialist country (like Russia).

Yeah, I'm sure the various CEOs are going to set up shop down the street from the Kremlin...working with Obama won't get you killed. Working with Putin just might...

    How about Chlamydia or Gonorrhea?

That was in New Zealand. Chad Johnson from the Cincinnati Bengals legally changed his last name to Ocho Cinco so he could circumvent NFL league rules and have his self-named moniker on his jersey...the NFL has still resisted and has not allowed him to wear it as of yet. Personally, I think Syphilis is a much better name than Gonorrhea.

  6. Both the Blue Angels and T-Birds rock. Kinda like dating a blonde supermodel and a brunette supermodel...slightly different, but just as good, and you wouldn't catch me complaining about either.

  7. Incredible job. Sather is an extremely important base, with many new buildings that need some kind of touch of home. They opened a new dining facility within the last 18 months or so, and it is great to see the chapel get some love. I had the honor to assist in the opening of a new chapel in Kuwait, and I always thought that windows much like these were needed there too.

    Great work. Fantastic.
