  1. 2 subjects - 1 WM in shorts - unknown on second SO 217 and second unit enroute
  2. LAW1 back 10-39. Didn't hear the outcome or if they busted anyone. Was hoping rescue would be called in for a dog bite.
  3. 159 and a second unit are up in the attic 146 on scene outside units are confirming tat 159, 132, 59, and 187 are all inside the house 146 and K9 (I believe Chico) heading in. units advise that one of the doors is booby -trapped
  4. SO units 172, 159, and 3rd and 4th unit enroute there is a, I believe, a Marshall's unit on scene calling in the 10-15 - he thinks the intruders are in the house up in the attic. SO 146 enroute SO 132, 159, 172 on scene SO 132 has activated he has an emergency - all other traffic on LAW2 159 asking for a "shield"
  5. I've corrected the address. I believe it is at Kroger. I have not picked up anything further. I did hear dispatch respond to traffic from res 1, but I did not receive their transmission. I believe they are calling for engine 1 to respond
  6. the EMS units were advised that the child used an inhaler but did not have access to one at the school - hence a call to 911 by the school. Insurance may offer certain benefits and you agree to those benefits when you pay the premium. If these benefits do not fully cover the families needs, then I see it as a responsibility of the parent, should they choose to call themself responsible, to provide for the child.
  7. head injury - hit by red truck, res 1, clark med 1 enroute this is at kroger - next to station 1 res 1 advised that man is under vehicle
  8. an example of the parent not being prepared for their child's needs
  9. res 9, clark med 2 enroute- 12yof with difficulty breathing - no inhaler for girl to use res 9 on scene
  10. We went April 9th. Was not too crowded. I'd probably get there 45-60 minutes before show start.
  11. res 3, clark med 1 enroute 19yom recovering form back and spleen injuries - was unconscious
  12. I have four of these in my home so I wanted you other tank owners to check their equipement: story on heater recall with model numbers affected: http://www.kait8.com/story/14497559/marineland-stealth-and-stealth-pro-aquarium-heaters-recalled-by-cpsc
  13. dispatch used "severed" but I could not think how to spell it as I was typing - so I used "cut off" the units were advised that the finger was on ice, so I am taking that this was a true loss of a finger I only caught light traffic from the Clark unit arriving on scene - nothing further. I am in NE corner of county and do not always pick up transmissions of units further south.
  14. res 2, clark med 3 enroute to 9 yom with finger cut off - finger on ice at this time in nurse's station
  15. I am fine with it as long as erosion abatement ordinances are followed and the event is entirely on private property.
  16. Wineguy, CDMA cellular technology is far superior than GSM. That is my statement - nothing to do with data speeds. The bottom line is if you are in the bottom of a parking garage, on the 30th floor, or in low terrain, CDMA will give you better coverage. A "cell phone" is normally used for talking, although they are becoming "do all" devices.
  17. Verizon has the best cellular technology. Can't comment on the iPhone - IMHO just hype.
  18. OP - county ordinances can be found here: http://library2.municode.com/default-test/home.htm?infobase=11409&doc_action=whatsnew
  19. Got a letter from Arbitron ratings today. It had a nice, new $1 bill in it so don't trash yours if you get one.
  20. Will loan you my English Pointer - he'll make quick work of your garden and the Armadillo will be gone in no time. Can't be held responsible for any holes left after removal of the varmint is complete.
  21. A ride from Paulding to a trauma center is in the $8000-12000 range. I would think a PA to GA would $50K plus. You might call the Air Methods billing line - 800-348-1348 - and see if they can give you an estimate.
  22. Paulding County does not have a siren warning system. City of Dallas maintains one - I don't think Hiram does. Paulding's warning system is a weather radio and the code red warning method (email, SMS, phone call to requested media).
