  1. I've heard that he has an inside track to get "returns from Santa's sleigh..." haha
  2. Based on your location, you can also consider troop 350, charted out of County Line UMC. We meet Monday evenings 7-8:30. Feel free to contact me for further info. I do agree on the suggestion of asking around at school and getting him involved with a troop where he may have friends.
  3. Where is this week's Tebow thread?
  4. When I purchased my new home the drain field was on a diagram in the closing documents.
  5. I did not reclaim the copper in mine a few months ago - just took to taylor's junkyard on 61 just north of Paulding line in Bartow. I think I got $10/100#s.
  6. Hope you enjoy a few well deserved days off. Thanks for all your help over the years. I certainly miss having you as an option for my vehicle repairs.
  7. Our scout group pays $45/hour rent the gym. I am sure a church would pay much more since they probably use more rooms of the facility. The custodian makes a little extra cash and the facility further serves the community by being open. OP, if you and your gay buddies need to rent it, I am sure I can track down the contact at the district office that handles the contracts. Or, just contact the principal of the school and they will point you in the right direction - that is what our group did.
  8. This Santa looks an a lot like my old car mechanic before he retired!
  9. tuesday and wednesday is normally the cheapest days. sign up for airtran's air-saver e-newsletter. They have web-only sales in the $59-79 range to many cities they serve.
  10. maybe you are thinking of black hash oil?
  11. okay - trying to figure this one out as the Clark EMS subsidy has always been of interest to me. They decreased the subsidy (I am assuming the fuel subsidy is still in place) from $475K to $250K yet there was a $250K increase to the "Wellstar Paulding Indigent Med" fund. I am wondering if any of this allocation can be used to pay for delinquent ambulance rides? If Clark has had financial troubles over the past few years I am sure that a loss of $225K will certainly hurt if it is not made up in other ways.
  12. I have had good service with Comcast. When they send the notice of price increases, I just call them and ask how I can reduce my bill. They give me a few options and then I tell them that is still too expensive. They then put me back on the intro bundle price that I have been on for 3-4 years. So, for me, their customer service does what it takes to keep a customer and I am happy with that.
  13. that is when you take your business elsewhere.

  23. I have been looking at this Vizio tablet too - it is $190 at costco and I think it seems to be a good deal. We have bot android based phones and an ipod touch in our house. I prefer the android phone for sure for UI and ease of use. Not to mention I don't have to deal with the iScrewU Apple system.
  24. I went with the touch last Christmas to ward off the "I want a cell phone" for my 7th grader. It has taken care of the problem.
