I was watching the 8/11 BoC work session today - reservoir was mentioned as not being on the radar. That federal money would be required - too much for the county to come up with. They expect to know a cost to build towards the end of the year - but expected to be $15 million. I thought all the land was purchased. Don't you just grade the land, put up a fence around it, and run a pipe from the Etowah River to fill and maintain the reservoir? For $15 million???? I thought this was one of Austin's campaign promises????
