1. I can't speak on behalf of the estimates provided by the Chamber but I can speak to your lack of critical thinking. Your analysis is embarrassingly elementary. It's akin to my 8 year old daughter arguing that she should be able to do anything and everything her seventeen year old brother is allowed to do because, in her eyes, they're both kids...but you're talking about airports. Nevermind that you completely dismiss the importance of citing the different types of revenue coming into H-J, what percentages of total revenues are attributed to which streams of revenue, which employees are mos

4. Nitro has always come across as a good dude even if I do get him heated from time to time...debate is fun to me, not stressful. mrnn
5. You're a certified gun instructor, correct? You said you've never taught a kid to shoot which, for a gun instructor, seems like there'd have to be some sort of moral objection because kids routinely go through gun training through certified programs. This all started when I said that "if you had it your way, grade school kids would be carrying". You took that to mean carrying at school when my point was that you have no issue with kids having guns. You put words in my mouth. How cute: mrnn
6. In a conversation between you and I of gun culture, it most certainly is your culture, not mine. Being you apparently don't believe in teaching kids to shoot, does that mean you're in full support of mandatory gun locks? mrnn
7. That's what so comical about this....kid dies of cancer? God has a plan. Father of 4 dies in a fiery crash? God has a plan. Baseball player his a home run to win a game? Thanks God. But hey, I've got to bring a gun to church because, in my heart of hearts, I don't believe that God has a plan....it's just something I say to sound all Christian-y. mrnn As a gun instructor, have you ever taught a grade school kid to shoot a gun? Don't act like what I said is some far-out, abstract idea....there is no boundary between kids and guns in your gun culture. Countless times on here
8. I'm shocked that you feel this way You'd have grade school kids carrying if you had it your way. When churches start paying taxes I'll start worrying about their "constitutional rights". mrnn
9. Is a military strike on a packed church of soldiers worshiping more disgusting than a military strike on a remote outpost? If so, why? mrnn
10. I can only think of one attack in a church in recent memory......and it was a gun nut/white supremacist going after Muslims but the idiot went to a Sikh temple instead of a mosque. Ya know, they both have beards. mrnn
11. I don't go to church but I'll take a stab at an answer....Do you have conversations with your wife during church service? Do you eat breakfast during your church service? Do you talk on your cell phone or regularly surf the web while your minister is giving his sermon? There's no law against any of these things and yet people (most) don't do them because it's a matter of etiquette and respect for a place of worship. Do you really think it's good etiquette to bring a weapon to a place that is supposed to be full of grace? I mean, on its face, I agree with you...technically a.church is n
12. I had a kid rear-end me waiting at the light on Atlanta Hwy waiting to take a left onto 278. We pulled off to the side of the road and PCSO came and handled everything. Neither car was towed. mrnn
13. But what about his family? His daughter who carries the message of that "church" onward? Is it not our responsibility to take this opportunity to show them just how uncouth, hurtful, and inhumane their actions are? Can there be any stronger demonstration from those of us who find their kind appalling than to turn the tables and protest his funeral? I mean, I hear you but, especially as an atheist, I hope for nothing more than for his family to feel as much hatred toward their deceased relative as humanly possible. mrnn
14. Good riddance. We should have another "Million Man March" at his funeral picketing that "God Hates Bigots". mrnn
15. Looking good, Pubby! I know it will take some time to work out some of the kinks but my first impression is that this is great! Everything just has a sleeker look and seems to be more intuitive. Thanks! mrnn
16. We had a Frigidaire we recently replaced and it was awful...just a waste of water, really. We got a Bosch now and are extremely happy with it. mrnn
17.

Ha! Man, not to get off topic, but it's ridiculous the difference between branches. I was in a mobile combat comm unit so, despite the fact we were USAF, we still did field exercises and such, but nonetheless, the differences were astounding. For example, it was 1995 and I was deployed to Prince Sultan AB, Saudi Arabia. I spent less than a week in the middle of nowhere in a tent and then they moved us. They moved us to Riyadh...to a villa...there were 5 of us sharing a house...I had my own bedroom...a kitchen...living room...marble floors...it was
18.

More disgusting, degrading, uncalled for, and disrespectful than accusing our National Guard of bullying her into accepting Allegiance Air flights into Paulding and comparing the noise over her house to serving in Afghanistan? I disagree. Truthfully, I never say that word. I used it for effect...to show that throwing around words for impact, like "PTSD" [edit]", is rarely, if ever, appropriate. mrnn
19.

Considering your lack of wit and spelling prowess, you were obviously Army. That's OK...we can't all be airmen USAF 94-98 mrnn
20.

Speaking of "shocked"...that was my reaction when I realized some words aren't filtered lmao. mrnn
21. What a spineless, brainless, [edited] woman. If ya'll want this "stop the airport" movement to have any credibility whatsoever, you need to dump dumbass bitches like Patti Smith. Look at her emotions...the seriousness with which she charged that the National Guard is all part of a conspiracy to force commercial air into Paulding. Unbelievable. She needs to take her fat, ugly ass to Afghanistan for a few months and get a taste of some real PTSD. Gimme a bullet...I don't care....this dumbass made the ATL news....and if you think they put her on there to create empathy for the plight of t

23.

Obama has never threatened to use force, nor should he. He said, verbatim, "The United States will stand with the international community in affirming there will be costs for any military intervention in Ukraine...”. "Costs" doesn't mean military force, it could mean any number of things, particularly economic actions. For instance, the G8 is in Sochi this year, I'd venture to guess that there will be very few folks showing up for that summit, which will be an enormous embarrassment to Russia. mrnn
24.

Thanks for that explanation. I was wondering why there were so many Russians and Russian loyalists in the Crimea to really make this situation difficult. One possible outcome I read was that Crimea could be annexed back to Russia..essentially splitting up Ukraine. mrnn
