Nick & Janeal's passing was/is still felt so deeply at PCH. I'm so sorry your DN has to experiance this all over again. She will be in my prayers, as will the parents and all others that were involved. Perhaps it's past time for our esteemed "leaders" to stop paying for pet projects, and start protecting the county's young drivers. Well our children have been trained not to have any outside opinion unless they are told too. There have been players that don't participate in the STUDENT lead team prayer without any repercussions. I would hope that our LE are a mature as our children when it comes to this. I do know that I find it funny how so many people who claim to not believe in God all of a sudden on their death bed they accept Jesus. NO, I really wish that some churches wouldn't use Baptist in their name at all. So, many people have the wrong impression of the Baptist. Yes, you have the ones that preach, and teach closer to the Puritan type doctrine then others. Unfortunately (it seems to me) that is the one a lot of folks stumble on. I do know that there is a lot of differing opinions about the drinking and such, but some go with the whole don't drink, and others go with the in moderation. I do remember frantically calling my son. He was stationed at Camp LeJune, and I couldn't get through. You can't imagine the relief I felt when he called later that evening. Only to have my stress go up again when we went after the bastards in 03.

No, I haven't forgotten. Every time I'm asked for my birth date, I get the. well umm what do I say look. That tells me that many people haven't forgotten. I just smile and say, "I celebrate anyway, because I think/hope that is what the ones who died would want." I do pause to pray for healing for the families, and for our country.
