I read the article, it sure seems he had quite the career and was a very successful officer. Wow, he was a beautiful Belgian Malinois. My thoughts and prayers to his family, I'm sure this is a very sad time for them.

You are absolutely right, she lived a very sad life. She is at peace, in Gods arms now and that's all that matters. Those that have done her wrong, will rot in hell!!! I will leave it at that. I'll not air, anymore of my opinions,.............................
You are right, no need to discuss the wrongs done to her, but rather focus on the good that she did. I'm sure she was a good friend to you and others. She is safe in the arms of her Savior now and very much at peace. The soul doesn't does not go to Heaven with hatred in the heart, all is forgiven. RIP Spunkywman, we will miss you here.

Oh my goodness, I hate to hear this news. Although I never met her, she seemed to be such a sweet person with a good heart. She was also a very sad lady, I pray that she is now at peace.

It would appear that one has nothing to do with the other. Maybe someone misread the article and assumed it was about the gun club in Hiram. Of course it is not, yet the person has not come back to correct themselves, so I would assume they are just trying to stir up rumors. JMHO

Sad situation. Prayers go out to his family, friends and co-workers.

I will be at the meetings, I hope everyone else in Hiram is there too.

I did not write the original link. After 37 years of filling dumpsters I do know it's near impossible to police what is put into them.
Oh, I know you didn't write it, it was from the Dallas Hiram Patch. I wonder why a reporter would write something untrue like that and try to get away with it. Just report the truth and get the information out there for the public to view and voice their thoughts. Yes, it is true that dumpsters are impossible to police, my husband is a pipe fitter and he's seen people dump all sorts of stuff in the bins.

I did a search for "Crist Zoning". It's item # 7 on the agenda for next weeks 2pm meeting.
Thank you. The request states that no hazardous material or household trash will be accepted. Why does the original link above say that hazardous waste will be dumped at this site?
-
Looking at Google Maps it appears it will be on Duncan Circle in Hiram. Also it looks like homes on both sides of a street separate this site from Hiram Elementary School.
I have read the actual request. I did read the original request that was withdrawn before it was heard by the Planning and Zoning Board.
I live in East Paulding and I am as opposed to this being here as my friends in Hiram are opposed to this being in their immediate neighborhood.
Where can I read the request? I've looked online, but can't find anything.

Remember, Crist Roofing bought Hiram PD a brand NEW cruiser a couple of years ago............................. just saying
Remember, we (the voters) voted "NO" on the Airport, and you see where that got us!! We, also voted for a Firemans Fund (for a lack of a better word) and I'd bet the fireman didn't get one penny of that money and WHERE'D THAT MOENY GO TO?????
Umm, isn't that considered bribery?

If he gets what he wants, I wonder if he pans to set up a crusher to resell all of the concrete and asphalt he plans to bring in? Those things are loud and definitely NOT what needs to in or around a school or homes.

I'm going to share this on my FB. Wow, I can't believe this guy is trying to do this so close to homes, school and other businesses. He and his company will never see a dime of my money if I ever need a service his company offers.

Your son's a doctor?
No silly, he's a college student. He's in a Radiography program and after a couple months of applying, he was hired on as a Nutrition Assistant. He wanted to get his foot in the door and have employment history with Wellstar once he completes his education. HIs Mother (me), says he will not be done with his education until he has earned AT LEAST his Bachelors Degree.

Prayers sent for you.

The train track in Douglasville, 92 and 78, are clearly marked "no trucks". DH has seen many trucks and trash trucks get stuck at that section of RR. Fortunately, not as often as he used to.

Miss Sophie, that's who did yours? They did a great job. We have a few pines and a Tulip Poplar that need to be removed. Do they give free estimates?

I second Unlimited Party Rentals. We have used them a few times and they really are great. If you go to their website, you an find a list of everything they carry as well as a price list. They are very affordable.

It seems she led a full life and had the ability to make many others happy. Rest in Peace Mrs.Nelson.

They should come to Helping Hands. Please pass this info on to this family. I will try to look for them in the future. We pass by there every Tuesday & Wednesday
Did anyone see the pregnant young lady in Hiram, behind one of those shopping strips that are up front, in front of Kohls and Target area, last Wednesday afternoon??? Her sign said something like pregnant with 2 or 3 children, need to feed them, so on and so on????? I gave her Helping Hands name and number. I wasn't sure if she spoke good english or not but, I told her to go to Helping Hands for free food. I just hope she went.
Yes, I saw her, I just don't recall the day. Hopefully, if she is really in need, she did find her way Helping Hands or somewhere that can give her some assistance. Still, I can't just give a handout to someone not knowing if they are legit or not.

Prayers for you.
